How-to fill out your profile

From the Residential Life Portal, click on the hyperlinked “University login page” line

This will bring up a login window. You will log in using your full Lindenwood email(abc123@lindenwood.edu) and the corresponding email password.

Once on the portal welcome page, choose “Apply for Housing”

On the "term selector" page select the academic year option. Then click the save andcontinue button.

From here, you will automatically be directed to the Welcome Page. This page givesbasic information about Residential Life, as well as a few things that students should

know about their rooms.

Once you have read the information on the Welcome Page, click on “Continue” and itwill direct you to the next page.

Fill out Personal Details. The information in the top two sections is automatically pulledfrom our database, but each student will need to fill out the information for their

Emergency Contact as well as Missing Person Contact. There is a box you can click on tohave the Emergency Contact information transfer over to Missing Person Contact.

Once you have filled out all of the information, click on “Save & Continue”

You will now need to state whether you have any accommodation needs that wouldaffect your placement in university housing.

An example of this would be if you have a mobility impairment or if you have a

medically documented condition. If yes, we will require documentation from a medicalprofessional. Please choose “Yes” or “No”. Click on “Save & Continue” and you will be

directed to the next page.

If you select “No”, you will move on to the Profile. If you select “Yes”, you will be directedto this page which will ask for the information on your special need. Please fill this page

out according to your need.

After completing this information, you will click on “Save & Continue”. The next page willask you to upload documentation from a medical professional. You may upload up to

three different documents.

The next step is to fill out your Profile. This must be done by all students regardless of ifyou are new or continuing.

If you are a new student andare not requesting a specificroommate, these questions willplay a role in determining yourfuture roommate. Roommateswill be matched according topercentages of answersimilarity. If you are acontinuing student and alreadyhave a roommate, answeringthese questions will not affectyour current roommateselection. After answering thesequestions, if you have aroommate you would like to livewith, you will still be able torequest that roommate.

The next step is your “WebProfile”. Your Web Profile isdifferent than your Profile thatyou filled out on the previousscreen. Your Web Profile givesyou the ability to add yourFacebook, Instagram, andTwitter username so that yourroommate can search youonline. Your screen name is thebeginning of your Lindenwoodemail and is automaticallyimported, which means you willbe unable to change it. Yourscreen name is how you willappear to other students whenyou message them or request aroommate.

The description box also plays a role in determining your future roommate. In order to search for a roommate, you must have the box checked. Click on “Save &

Continue”

At the bottom of the "more about you" page you will have the option to indicatewhether or not you require a campus mailbox.

The next page you will see will prompt you to select which meal plan you would like tohave for the upcoming school year.

Please note that freshman are required to have the traditional meal plan. Thus, this

page will not show up for freshman students.

Once you have selected your meal plan option, click on “Save & Continue”. You will nowsee the Meal Plan Agreement.

Once you have read and understood the Meal Plan Agreement, you will need to checkthe box at the top of the page. You will then enter your Student ID number in the box

and click on “Save & Continue”
