THIRTY-THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME NOVEMBER 17, 2019 Andrew and Erin McNeely: Erin and I have three boys and a single income. My job is commission based so we dont know what our income will be each year. We decided a few weeks ago to give, what we felt was an uncomfortable amount to the Cathedral, as our tithe to our parish based on what we anticipated we would make this year. That very next week, God blessed us with work that was worth over ten times the amount we gave to the parish. We were humbled by His generosity and overwhelmed by His faithfulness. Why We Give… From the Development Desk Dear Cathedral Family: For too long our parish has been limping along with a woefully inadequate sound system. This leaves many feeling they aren’t receiving everything we offer during their participation at Mass. We understand and share your frustration! We’ve been working hard to figure out a solution, but realize that this will take a great deal of funding. We need to raise AT LEAST $80,000, but we trust that if we all work together, we can make this happen! We’re all in this together so let’s share the same goal of making Cathedral the best it can be. Help us accomplish this goal! If everybody pulls together, we’re confident we can put a new system in place in no time. If all you can give is $30, that is just as important as someone giving $500.
