Original heat treatment program
Start: Fill the gas box with the components,
place it in the furnace and open the argon
supply.
Hold: For stress relief heat
treatment/recrystallization annealing of the
components, the temperature must be held
at 1150 °C / 2120 °F for at least 60 minutes.
End: Close the argon supply and remove
the components from the furnace and the
gas box.
Total processing time using the Nabertherm
furnace N7 / H is approximately 8 hours.
The oxide layer which is formed during the
process can be removed using an abrasive
once the components have completely
cooled down.
