Were a liberal arts college for Christian men and women.

That we integrate God's truths into every discipline, helping students relate their faith to life in today's world.

Primary goal is to provide higher education for students interested in the arts and sciences taught within the framework of Christian doctrine.

But what they don’t know is….. That we pay off local businesses to not sell

alcohol. That even if your 21 drinking is prohibited. Why tuition goes up year after year.

Page 4: From dry to wet!

Its simple my proposal.. Dry campus to a wet campus

In the end increasing population and revenue while stabilizing tuition, without tarnishing our great image.

Adding a bar to the warrior underground. Which will be called the “Dub Pub”

Believe it will create more of a campus life and have a better student life than what we have already.

Produce more attendance at campus events because alcohol will be served. Nothing drives students to events more

than alcoholic beverages.

Page 6: From dry to wet!

18-24 year olds 2.1 million students drove while

intoxicated. 31% of college students met criteria for

being alcohol dependent. 97,000 students were victims of sexual

assault while intoxicated. 1,700 college students die each year from

alcohol related incidents.

Page 7: From dry to wet!

Create a Fun environment that students will want to go to that is safe. Eliminate driving by those who are

intoxicated. Reduce risk of all drinking related

incidents. Keep students from drinking excessive

amounts of alcohol. Reduce off campus drinking.

After reading a article wrote by Lakeland College’s Pub Manager, Robert Bauknecht, it presented facts to me that Lakeland College’s revenue has increased by 150% this year compared to 5 years ago when there was no pub on campus.

After the first year of establishment Lakeland College’s revenue increased by 74%, with their second year of establishment their revenue increased by 97% and since then the revenue at Lakeland College has increased by 150%.

With numbers like this there’s no doubt in my mind that the revenue here at WLC would too increase.

Page 14: From dry to wet!

“Yes, our (Lakeland College) numbers have steadily increased since we have made LC Pub here five years ago. We are not the college that encourages only drinking on campus, but the LC Pub is a great thing to have on campus”

Its no question that year after year one of our main goals is enrollment, so why not provide an incentive.

Page 15: From dry to wet!
Page 16: From dry to wet!

WLC should be a wet campus…… it will increase revenue to Wisconsin

Lutheran College, be better for students of legal drinking age

to just drink Dub Pub on campus would actually

increase the enrollment of students at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
