Important tip when using biodiesel — biodiesel places a considerably higher burden on the diesel filter than normal fuel. On vehicles that are not designed specifically for higher biodiesel proportions, the filter should be replaced more often than originally recommended by the manu-facturer.

Water as the enemyWater in the fuel can damage parts such as the injection pump as the water does not completely evaporate. This can result in very expensive repairs and highlights the importance of effective Bosch filters. They reliably filter out the water, which is then collected in a special storage compartment in the filter and discharged.

AdBlue and DENOXTRONIC® from BoschAdBlue is precisely injected into the exhaust gas flow by DENOXTRONIC® and converts up to 85 % of emis-sions into water and air.
