Can I start with a huge congratulations to our P&C and our entire school community

for an outstanding Moonlight Market!! The night was a wonderful success and is a

credit to the hard work and dedication of our P&C and volunteers for their tireless

work and preparation. I am sure you will agree that everyone had a great time and

we had a huge number of people visit the school. The feedback I received was

overwhelmingly positive, with many asking if we do this monthly!!!!!! I am always very

proud of our wonderful school and relished the opportunity to share it with our

wider community!!

Our 5/6 class, along with Mrs Murphy and Ms Witherspoon have had a great 3 days

away visiting our nations Capital. The photos look fantastic and reports are that

everyone enjoyed their time and represented Mulgoa with pride!

Our 3/4 class, along with Mr Favaloro are heading off to Yarramundi next week for

the combined small schools stage 2 camp. We know they will have a great time.

Some great news for Mulgoa...our speech therapist Taneal Norman has returned!! If

you are interested in her service please see the ladies in the office.

Term 4 is an opportunity for the teachers to give parents written feedback about

your child’s learning. Reports will be sent home on Monday, 16th December. Over the

coming weeks each of the teachers will have a day off class to assist with

assessments and report writing. Mrs Romeiro will be taking each class during that

time.

P&C News - We hope you can join us at the next P&C meeting on Wednesday, 4th

December at 7:30pm. President: Sammy Simmons. Vice President: Luke Murphy. Treasurer: Gillian

Podsiadly. Secretary: Kathryn Mitchell. Canteen Supervisors: Louise Treanor and Brittany Frazer.

Important Messages

* Notes will be sent home shortly to all children regarding swim school

which will take place in week 9 this term. Please note that we are only

able to take 55 students.

* Merit awards, bronze, silver and gold awards for our next visitor’s

assembly are due to the office by Wednesday, 13th November.

* All bronze, silver and gold awards for our Presentation day are due to the

office by Thursday 21st November. If you are unsure please see Mrs

Stanczyk or Mrs Nix in the office.

* Notes have been sent home with children regarding our Science Fair. Our

science fair is always a fabulous morning for the students to share with

family and friends. Please see Miss Woodcroft if you have any questions.

* If your child is absent from school please ensure they bring a note in

explaining their absence the day they return. Alternatively you can ring/

email the school informing us of your child’s absence. Thank you.

* A reminder that all children need to bring a SCHOOL hat to school each

day. Mulgoa has a ‘no hat, no play’ policy and children without hats will

be directed to our passive games under the COLA.

* Please add our Presentation Day date to your diary, Monday, 16th

December. Our Presentation Day assembly is a lovely opportunity for us to

recognise the learning in each class over the year. We love to see our

family and friends share the morning with us!
