Friends After Diagnosis welcomes survivors, caregivers, and loved ones to its monthly support meetings, which typically are held the second and fourth Mondays and the third Saturday at Friendship House in Vero Beach and the first Saturday at Sebastian River Medical Center.

For up-to-date meeting and event information, visit FriendsAfterDiagnosis.com.

Mind BodyFriends After Diagnosis connects women diagnosed with cancer, those with breast cancer, and their loved ones with information that aids understanding and decision making: at regular support meetings, where Friends and guest experts share their experiences and knowledge, and via FriendsAfterDiagnosis.com.

Friends After Diagnosis helps survivors meet their physical challenges by partnering with other organizations to provide wellness programming, having monthly presentations from health professionals at support meetings, and encouraging Friends to share their experiences.

SpiritThrough regular meetings and the Friends network, Friends After Diagnosis provides friendship, emotional support, and celebration of life to ease the cancer journey. The value of one survivor helping another is beyond compare.

Regular Support Meetings“Feelings of isolation after a cancer diagnosis are common,

but giving in to those feelings can keep the body from

generating the healing energy it needs. In Friends After

Diagnosis, survivors help each other, and it’s become an

essential part of the cancer care community on the

Treasure Coast.”
