Friday is dedicated to Imam al-Mahd(a.t.f.s), the Patron of the Age—peace be upon him—for his blessed

advent will be on Friday. May Allah hasten his advent. So, when you visit him on

Fridays, you are recommended to say the following ziyarat:

Friday Ziyarat of Imam Mahdi

(a.t.f.s)

Peace be upon you, O argument of Allah in His

lands!

ه� ه� ر� ا ه�ي ه� ل ٱل ل� �ل ح� ل�ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

Peace be upon you, O sight of Allah on His creatures!

ه� ه� ر �ل ه�ي ه� ل ٱل �ل ر� ل� ل�ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

Peace be upon you, O light of Allah

ه� ل ٱل ل� ح�و ل�ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

by which those who have been guided [to the true

guidance] are guided

ل ح"و ل# ر$ ح% رل ٱ ه� ه& ه"ي ل# ر$ ل� ه)ي ل ل ٱ

and by which the believers are relieved!

�ل ه(� ه* ر+ ح% رل ٱ �ه ل� ه� ه& ح, -ل ل. ح� لو

Peace be upon you, O polite and fearful!

ح/ ه0 ل1ا رل ٱ ح2 (ل ل$ ح% رل ٱ ل$ا �ح ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

Peace be upon you, O sincere patron!

ح3 ه4 ل(ا ٱل حي هل لو رل ٱ ل$ا �ح ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

Peace be upon you, O ark of salvation!

ه5 ل�ا ) ل ٱل ل� ل( ه.� ل6 ل�ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

Peace be upon you, O essence of life!

ه5 ل�ا ل7 رل ٱ �ل ر� ل� ل�ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

Peace be upon you.

ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

May Allah send blessings to you

ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل ٱل ى8 ل ل4

and upon your Household,

ل� ه# ر� ل& ه: آا ى8 ل ل� لو

the pure and immaculate.

�ل ه-� ه> ل=ا ٱل �ل ي�ب� =ل ٱل

Peace be upon you.

ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

May Allah hasten that which He has promised

you;

ل@ ل" ل� لو ل*ا ل� لل ح� ل ٱل Aل �ل ل�

namely, victory and prevalence of your

authority.

ه- ر* ٱلا ه� ح$و Dح لو ه- Eر ) ل ٱل �ل ه*

Peace be upon you, O my master.

لي لا رول ل* ل�ا ل� ر� ل ل� ح� ل� ل�ل لال

I am a servant of you

ل@ لا رول ل* ل�ا ا

and I recognize the first and the last of your affair.

ل@ ل-ا �ر لوا ل@ لا ه&اول Fف ه� ل�ا

I seek nearness to Allah, the Exalted, through your

Household and you

ل� ه# ر� ل& ه: آا ه& لو ل� ه& ى8 لل لHا Iل ه� ل ٱل ى8 لل هJا ح2 -ل ل� Iل ا

and I am expecting your advent and the prevalence of the truth at your hands.

ل� ر� ل" ل� ى8 ل ل� Kي ل7 رل ٱ ل� ح$و Dح لو ل@ ل� ح$و Dح ح- Lه ل# ر� لوا

And I beseech Allah to send blessings to

Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

د" %ل ل7 ح* ه: آا لو د" %ل ل7 ح* ى8 ل ل� لي ي Eل ح� ر ا ل� ل ٱل ح: ر6ا لوا

and to include me with those who are expecting

you,

ل� لل �ل ه-� Lه ل# ر( ح% ٱل �ل ه* ه(ي ل Hل ر� ل� ر لوا

those who follow you and support you against your

enemies,

ل� ه0 ل"ا ر� ا ى8 ل ل� ل� لل �ل ه-� ه4 ل(ا لوٱل �ل �Hه ه& #ا ل لوٱل

and those who will be martyred in front of you in the group of your loyalists.

ل� ه0 ل�ا هل رو ا ه� ل ر% Nح ه�ي ل� ر� ل" ل� �ل ر� ل& �ل ه"� ل$ Oر ل# ر� ح% رل لوٱ

O my master, O Patron of the Age!

ه ل*ا Pل ٱل Qل ه� ل4ا ل�ا لي لا رول ل* ل�ا

May Allah’s blessings be upon you

ل� ر� ل ل� ه� ل ٱل Rح لوا ل ل4

and upon your Household.

ل� ه# ر� ل& ه: آا ى8 ل ل� لو

Today is Friday,

ه� Hل ح% ح� رل ٱ ح� رو ل� ل)ا ى>

which is your day on which your advent is expected

ل@ ح� ح$و Dح ه� ه�� Sح Tل لو ل# ح% رل ٱ ل� ح* رو ل� لو ح> لو

to bring about relief to the believers at your hands,

ل� ر� ل" ل� ى8 ل ل� �ل ه(� ه* ر+ ح% ر هل ه� ه�� ح, ل- ل. رل لوٱ

and killing of the disbelievers with your

sword.

ل� ه. ر� ل� ه& �ل ه-� ه� لUا رل ٱ Aح ر# Tل لو

On this day, O my master, I am your guest and in your

vicinity

ل@ ح� لNا لو ل� ح. ر� ل� ه� ه�� لي لا رول ل* ل�ا ل�ا لوا

and you, my master, are generous and the descendant of the generous people,

ه� ل-ا Uه رل ٱ Vه لا رول ا �ر ه* Wف ه-� Xل لي لا رول ل* ل�ا Yل ر� لوا

and you are commanded to receive your guests and neighbors hospitably;

ه5 ل� لNا هJا لوٱل ه� ل� ل�ا Zي ه&ٱل ف� ح*و را ل* لو

so, receive me as your guest and neighbor.

ه�ي ر- Nه لوا ه(ي ر. ه� ل�ا

May Allah’s blessings be upon you

ل� ر� ل ل� ه� ل ٱل Rح لوا ل ل4

and upon your Household, the immaculate.

�ل ه>-� ل=ا ٱل ل� ه# ر� ل& Aه ر> ا ى8 ل� لو
