Dogs Eligible To Enter This event is open to all dogs four (4) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club. Approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds are eligible to participate. No Champions of Record may compete in an Open Show. Professional handlers are not permitted to exhibit in Open Shows, with the exception of dogs they are the recorded owner/co-owner of. Professional handlers are defined according to the Rules Applying to Dog Shows Chapter 3, Section 7. Dogs should be physically sound. No dog shall be judged if it is taped, bandaged, glues or stitches any-where including ears or tail in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registrable breeds that may partici-pate.

Fax Entries: 877-667-4304. Both sides of the entry form must be faxed. Visa/Master Card number and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder's name must be included. Fax entries must be re-ceived by the closing hour and date. Fax fee: $4.00 per entry in addition to entry fee. On-Line Entries can be taken at www.gordonshowsec.info On-Line Fee: $4.00 per entry in addition to entry fee. Telephone, telegraph and unsigned entries CANNOT be accepted. Entry fee shall not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred. Canadian exhibitors must make fees payable in US funds. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and photocopies of the entry without the Agreement and Rules from the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Errors on Entry Blanks: Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. An AKC Registration $2.00 event fee will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or Member Club, Show, Obedience Trial, or Tracking Test. This fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to AKC. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the fee is collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 14, Section 2) All dogs must be held on leash except when in the exercise area or crated. Grooming is indoors. Exhibitors are responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates and grooming areas. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. No entry shall be made or accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Judging schedule and map to the show site will be mailed as soon as possible after the closing of entries. There will be a holding area set up outside of each ring that can be utilized during your judging. This area must be vacated as soon as judging is over. NOTE: All Rules and Regulations used during the Satur-day & Sunday shows are applicable to the shows on Friday.
