In order to receive a Certificate of Mission a completion of 15 units is required. The courses required for certificate completion are Biblical Survey, History of Religions, Biblical Theology of Mission, Spiritual Formation and Hermeneutics. These core courses help a ministry leader tackle cultural issues while developing a Christian sensitivity and mind-set to the Mission of the Church. Biblical Survey – 3 units = 30 hours of instruction History of Religions – 3 units = 30 hours of instruction Biblical Theology of Mission – 3 units = 30 hours of instruction Spiritual Formation – 3 units = 30 hours of instruction Hermeneutics – 3 units = 30 hours of instruction LOGO HERE Certificate of Mission Diplomas Certificates are given at Graduation during the Fresno School of Mission Festival in May. Diplomas are given in Christian Counseling, Biblical Theology & Mission and are designed to offer training to those called into full-time ministry who normally have rich life and career experience but lack training. Its goal is to prepare students for Christian ministries or other related fields of service. To receive a Diploma you must complete all of the core courses and complete 15 units of additional courses in the desired field.
