    Question 1 Think Simble

There is a well-known myth about the word X, which says that in

1791 a Dublin theater owner named James Daly made a bet that

he could introduce a word into the language within 24 hours.

He then went out and hired a group of street urchins to write

the word X, which was a nonsense word, on walls around thecity of Dublin. Within a day, the word was common currency and

had acquired a meaning (since no one knew what it meant,

everyone thought it was some sort oftest) and Daly had some

extra cash in his pocket. However, there is no evidence to support the story, and the term

was already in use before the alleged bet in 1791.

It is was also used as an 18th century nick-name for "yo-yo" in

    England. What is X?

    Kapoor starrer was shot there.

But in a bid to recreate the lost charm of such a magical place, beginning from the month of June, the saplings of several tree

varieties like Perfume Tree, Shorea Talura (Jalari in Kannada), Mesua

Ferrea (Suragi in Kannada), which are known to spread fragrance up

to two kilometres will be planted.

Also an expansion is being planned to ensure more privacy and a

    refreshing silence.

Lovebirds, we are assured, will love this once-again-paradise. What

    Question 12

Known as Moksha Patam, the game was popular in ancient India

and emphasized the role of fate or karma.

Moksha Patam was associated with traditional Hindu philosophy

contrasting karma and kama, or destiny and desire. The game has

also been interpreted and used as a tool for teaching the effects ofgood deeds versus bad. The X represented virtues such as

generosity, faith, and humility, while the Y represented vices such

as lust, anger, murder, and theft.

The morality lesson of the game was that a person can attain

salvation (Moksha) through doing good, whereas by doing evil one

will inherit rebirth to lower forms of life.

What do we now know this game as?

    Question 14

The Oxford English Dictionary contains a reference to the term

dating back to 1320, when the term was used to describe a

disputed territory or one over which there was legal

disagreement. The same term was later used as the name for the

piece of land outside the north wall of London that was assigned asthe place of execution.

It is most commonly associated with the First World War to

describe the area of land between two enemy trenches to which

neither side wished to move openly or to seize due to fear of being

attacked by the enemy in the process

This term is of special importance in the current day scenario,

between bickering nations and lawless armies.

    What term?

When Barry Fairbrother dies unexpectedly in his early 40s, the little

town of Pagford is left in shock. Pagford is, seemingly, an English

idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, but what

lies behind the pretty facade is a town at war. Rich at war with poor,

teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with theirhusbands, teachers at war with their pupilsPagford is not what it

first seems. And the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council

soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet

seen. Who will triumph in an election fraught with passion,

duplicity and unexpected revelations? This is the plot of a certain authors first attempt at a book for

    Question 18

The two visuals, the live animal and the stuffed animal, are really a

dichotomy, or a separation of two parts of one thing. When Y is an

anthropomorphic toy in one panel and alive in the next, Im

juxtaposing the grown up version of reality with Xs version, and

inviting the reader to decide which is truer, said Mr Bill. So what does it all mean? Basically, Y is 100% real when hes seen

from Xs perspective, and 100% unreal when seen from someone

elses. So rather than Y just being imaginary, there is no real

    definition of his reality.

    What is being spoken about?

Or give us X and Y.
