Welcome!
FASNY After-school’ is back this fall with ambitious goals that perfectly reflects its mission which is to:
• serve a growing portion of FASNY families where both parents work by offering safe, fun, affordable and flexible childcare solutions before and after the school day but also during the school breaks.
• expand the bilingual experience outside of the classroom, giving our students more opportunities to use the target language doing something they really enjoy. That emotional dimension to language acquisition is sometimes key to getting them on board and helping them see the relevance of the educational project that we, parents, have for them. Yes, model making in French or the cool science club in English can make a difference!
• offer students and now parents (we have adult classes) more social opportunities to know each other, the teachers and interact outside of the classroom in French and in English.
With new classes, a variety of clubs and enrollment options, ranging from semester registration to enrollment on an as-needed basis, we hope this fall’s offerings meet you and your child(ren)‘s needs.
We are looking forward to another fun and fulfilling session in after-school, in French and English.
The After-School Programs team
Bienvenue!
