FOM specialises in the design and manufacturing of bespoke leather products, clothing and accessories. We are a proudly South African premium lifestyle brand.

Freedom of Movement was found-ed in 2013 by two brothers with a shared passion for design and entrepreneurship.

Fiercely passionate about their be-loved South Africa, the Chartered Accountant and Civil Engineer resolved to boost the local econ-omy through job creation and skill empowerment.

All our products are lovingly designed by our design team based in Stellenbosch, with an exceptional focus on detail, functionality and timeless aesthetic appearance.

Our leather bags are manufactured in South Africa in compliance with international Fairtrade standards using premium raw materials.

Our methods are based on tradi-tional principles of leather crafts-manship, utilizing the same tools that have been used to create authentic leather goods for decades. This is then blended with more modern techniques to ensure that the manufacturing process is not only efficient, but that our products are of the highest quality and craftsmanship.
