Mankind becomes addicted or enslaved to sin: Alcoholics – drug addicts – sex offenders Liars – thieves - profanity

Christ died to liberate us from our sins – 2 Cor.5:21We must die with him – dead to sinWe have freedom through His blood


“God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin,

which you were delivered. And having been set free

from sin, you became slaves of righteousness”

Romans 6:17-18


“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which

are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but

after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ

Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

In Christ we are freed from that law of sin and death

Christ is the atonement for all our sins

That would be lawlessness

True freedom is recognizing we have limits

Romans 6:18 “And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.”

Romans 6:22 (ESV) “But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.”


Act like servants [slaves] of Christ
