FREE RANGE 2016GRADUATE ART & DESIGN SEASON AT OLD TRUMAN BREWERY10TH JUNE - 18TH JULY
HANBURY STREET
Welcome to the 16th Season of Free Range at The Old Truman
Brewery.
We are so excited to be presenting the best in UK graduate creative talent
once again. With new additions such as the second floor space, our inaugural
ILLUSTRATION WEEKEND and a reboot of FR awards, the 2016 season is looking good. At last count there are close to 100 courses on show this summer covering
fashion, design, illustration, photography, fine art, interior design & architecture.
We continue to be blown away by the level of innovation and creativity coming in from all corners of the UK, and can’t wait to see it all explode at Free Range. The shows mark an exciting time for our
graduates, and along with all our partners we invite you to come down and explore.
Thank you to the Zeloof family for their ongoing support, FR founder Tamsin
O’Hanlon and the whole Truman team.

BA FASHION COMMUNICATION & STYLING
Our students are encouraged to question accepted modes of fashion image-making, often drawing on unconventional, overlooked or unexplored production methods or subject areas. This year’s Fashion Communication and Styling graduate exhibition showcases a broad mix of media and an increasingly challenging range of themes.

201—202—204Studio culture is collective thinking. Studio culture is sharing. Studio culture is collaboration. Studio culture is not being precious over ideas. Studio culture is laughing, and sticking post-it notes over printouts on walls. Studio culture is not something manufactured, it simply exists.

@TRUMANBREWERY
What was historically London’s largest brewery is now the city’s revolutionary arts and media quarter.
The Old Truman Brewery has been transformed into a bustling hub of creativity. Nearly two decades of sensitive regeneration of derelict buildings across the sprawling eleven acre estate is now home to an array of independent boutiques, markets, cafes and exhibitions by day. As the sun sets on the heart of East London you can expect live music and DJ sets from world class acts, bowling and pop up events in our renowned event spaces, bars and clubs.
Our versatile campus allows your event ideas to come to life - shop units, warehouses and rooftops to cater for anything from photo shoots to trade fairs. The vast amount of office and leisure space on offer has some of the most acclaimed design, media, digital and music businesses calling the Old Truman Brewery their home.
This ever evolving mix of culture, leisure and business shows no sign of stopping. The Old Truman Brewery is London’s brightest and boldest destination.
