My fabric was not very sturdy so I ironed on fusible fleece to the two 18 x 12 pieces for the body of the bag.

5th bullet down says measure 3" from the sewn edge. That didn't work for me. I sewed 3' from the raw edge and sewed the raw edge into the side seams. Alternate way would be to create 4 bottom straps and sew two in each side seam so the bag can be tied to the sides of the walker.
