Fruit Matching Game in Chinese This is a game that I made to practice Mandarin with my own children at home. It can be used for different age levels in the following ways: 1) For younger students, make 2 copies of just the fruit pictures. Play the matching game by looking for 2 of the same picture. Be sure to say the names of the fruits in Mandarin while you play! To play the matching game : Mix up the picture cards. Place them face down in rows. Take turns flipping over 2 cards. If the pair is a match, keep them and take another turn. If they do not match, put the cards back where you found them. Your turn is over. 2) Make 1 copy of the fruit pictures and 1 copy of the fruit name cards. Play the matching game by trying to pair each picture with its name. 3) Copy the picture cards and name cards back to back. Use these as flash cards with older students. Have fun!
