Get your students writing about their summer plans with this simple acrostic poem craftivity. Simply copy both of the following pages Students should use the page with “summer” written vertically, using each letter as the beginning to each line of the poem. (Ex. Line 1 begins with an “S”, line 2 begins with a “U”, etc. Students color and cut out the watermelon. Finally, glue the watermelon to the top of the poem. You may want to glue wiggly eyes to the watermelon for an added touch.
