DAY 3 – City Tour of Lucerne After breakfast, an included walking tourhighlights the city’s landmark, the famous14th-century Chapel Bridge with its paint-ings of heroic town events, that crosses theReuss River. See the 17th-century Renais-sance Town Hall and town squares, all setamongst the beautiful backdrop of the SwissAlps. The remainder of the day is at leisure.Meal: B

DAY 4 – Optional Excursion: Mt. Pilatus Before departing for your ship in Basel, theday is free to enjoy at leisure or join themorning optional excursion to Mt. DAY 5 – Strasbourg, FranceBetween France and Germany lies lovelyStrasbourg, one of Europe’s most attractivecities. DAY 6 – Optional Excursion:Heidelberg, GermanyA brief port call is made in Speyer, Germanyfor disembarkation of the optional excur-

sion. Known as Germany’s oldest universitytown, Heidelberg is also famous for theruins of its red-walled 16th-century castle.The ship sails to Mannheim where the op-tional excursion reboards. This evening theship docks in Rüdesheim, one of the Rhine’smost delightful towns. DAY 7 – Rüdesheim and KoblenzRüdesheim is home to three medieval cas-tles and the town provides a fascinatinglook through German history. This morningyour Cruise Directors will walk you intotown where you’ll have free time to strollthrough the alleyways filled with shops orvisit the Market Square. This afternoon youwon’t want to miss the spectacular sceneryas you cruise through the “Splendor of theRhine” – a UNESCO World Heritage Sitealong the river, featuring St. Goar and thelegendary Lorelei Rock.

Upon arrival, enjoy an included walkingtour of Koblenz, located at the confluence ofthe Rhine and Mosel Rivers.
