Fundamental Songwriting Tips
Most people believe if you can write poetry you can write songs.
Lyrics can have poetry but poetry alone does not make a
song.
Concept or Melody
Define Title of song
Define the Style of the Song
The 5 Step Songwriting Process
The song will just sound not right and your audience will feel it.
Define the Structure of your Lyrics
Define your Rhyming Scheme
Congratulations, you have a potential hit
If you do not follow the 5 steps,
you may create a song which does not harmonise
e.g. you created a hip hop song and
used the rhyming technique for a pop song
Concept or Melody
First you need a Concept/Idea or melody for your song, if you do not have a melody it will be an idea or feeling which will drive you to write the song.
Make certain each song that you compose has one cohesive concept that streams through the song and that all the lines support that concept. If there is more than one idea fighting for life, no one concept will win.
Most commonly used concepts Love Friendship Conflict Loss Geography and travel

Loss and Issue Theme
When the pain and in some cases destruction of loss and the deep frustration of losing can be put into a fantastic song, you have a really reliable shipment system for an all-natural remedy. Your tune will become as popular as the number of people who can see themselves in your tune and the ones that can draw recovery from the beliefs you've revealed.
Some example songs about loss are:
“Come and Get Me” written by BlackheartSIN for a sample of the song click the play button to listen to a version performed by BlackheartSin
“Baby, Stop Crying"” written by BOB DYLAN click the button to listen; the song is performed by Sandra Madison Roth.

Repeat this process for each and every Song Theme you are interested in
We have, of course, only touched the surface of the songwriting process that might motivate you to develop a tune. Finding the themes you're most enthusiastic about, the ones that "strike a chord" in you will certainly make it simpler to write a song you're satisfied with and that'll link with others.
