Main Stage entertainment includes: Brighter At Night Matt Katsis and Blakiston's Owl Code One Ash Ball Bac2Bac Alanna Deutrom and Geoff Achison. Headlining on Saturday night will be Mike Vee - Whispering Jack - The John Farnham Experience. Live'n'Local Main Stage Brodie Harper, presenter of the Nine Network's top rating travel and lifestyle program in Victoria 'Postcards' will be MC of the main stage for the weekend of the Waterfront Festival!

Main Stage entertainment includes:

● Brighter At Night ● Matt Katsis and Blakiston's Owl ● Code One ● Ash Ball ● Bac2Bac ● Alanna Deutrom and Geoff Achison.

Headlining on Saturday night will be Mike Vee - Whispering Jack - The John Farnham Experience.

Playing on the Sunday will be:

Lifestyle Zone Try your hand at chess, croquet, the Scout's rope bridge and more as part of the come 'n' try arena in the Waterfront Lifestyle Zone.

Master a new skill and pick up some fitness tips in the Fenix Fitness Karingal and Chelsea demonstration area, or meet the local Friends' Groups and learn about the local Reserves Frankston has on offer.

Add some wonder to your weekend with the amazing chalk artists creating funky 3D images, inspiring you to help keep Frankston Victoria's Cleanest Beach.

Cook up a storm with Sweet Pea Cuisine who will be conducting interactive workshops with the kids while adults can enjoy the cooking demonstrations.

Eden Gardens (previously Linton's Nursery) will be creating an Interactive Children's Garden. Learn the benefits of good nutrition and the joys of an edible garden at home. Kids will be able to take home some edibles to plant.

Challenge Arena Ever wanted to try swing dance, martial arts or tai chi, but never had the chance?

This is the perfect opportunity to 'have a go' at the Challenge Arena. You can watch the demonstrations and then jump in to try them out. It''s a great way to have fun and learn while you're at it!

Try Human Bowling for FREE Strike Bowling will be setting up their Human Bowling course for everyone to try!

You've done ten-pin bowling, but have you tried Human Bowling?

Come along to the Waterfront forecourt and get strapped into the giant inflatable Human Bowling Ball, get launched down the lane and knock down as many giant pins as you can!

Food, Wine and a Beer Garden Discover your ambient haven at the Frankston Waterfront Festival.

Sit back in comfort, have a wine, coffee and snack while you take in the art on show. The Bartiste Wine and Cafe Lounge will have its own stage and muscians performing throughout the weekend as well, making this the perfect place to recharge your batteries.

If you're looking for a more lively pace, head to the Two Brothers Brewery Beer Garden in front of the Live 'n' Local main stage. Here you will find boutique beer and wine and some food will also be available in this licensed area.

Art Show and Craft Display Located at the Mechanics Institute, Nepean Highway - just across the road on the hill.

Treat yourself to a display of fine arts presented by the Peninsula Arts Society in the newly refurbished Mechanics Institute Hall.

There will also be displays and demonstrations by members of the Mornington Peninsula Embroiderers Guild, the McClelland Spinners and Weavers and local Quilters and Patchworkers.

Rides and Amusements and FIREWORKS Enjoy all the fun and excitement of the rides at the Waterfront Festival as you jump, slip, slide and scream through your weekend.

As well as extreme carnival rides there will also be rides for the younger kids available at the event.

The fireworks will be held on Saturday night at 9:45pm and will be launching off the end of the pier. Make sure you are there to see the sky come to life as the Saturday night erupts to the light spectacular accompanied by the John Farnham Experience

on the main stage.

Please note: The fireworks are weather dependent.

FREE So Much to Love in Frankston Calendars If you haven't already picked up your FREE So Much to Love in Frankston interactive calendar, they will be available at the Frankston Waterfront Festival. 

The calendar features photos from the past three years of the Focus on Frankston Photography Competition, and also has discount offers from local businesses.

The calendar includes most major and community events and heaps of offers from local businesses, including discounts for dining, golf, retail, bowling and more!

Plus for those who register the calendar online more ‘hot deals’ will be available each month including health and beauty, fashion, retail, Mornington Peninsula attractions and entertainment from Peninsula Hot Springs, BayPlay Adventure Tours, Endota Spa, Searoad Ferries, Peninsula Honey and Gunnamatta Trail Rides just to name a few!

This calendar is definitely a must-have for all locals and regular visitors.You can also register your calander to go into the quarterly draw to win local tourism package prizes.

Wheelchair Accessiblility at the Festival Beach Accessible Wheelchairs will be available at the Frankston Waterfront Festival!

Two beach accessible wheelchairs will be available to use free of charge between 11am – 3pm on Saturday and Sunday 14th &15th .

Theses chairs are equipped with large, wide wheels which can roll across the sand, allowing adults and children with mobility impairments to access the Beach, Sand and Water (with assistance).

These beach wheelchairs will be located next to Frankston Yacht Club.

Coming by car: The boat launching ramp and car park along with the Pier Promenade and the Waterfront Playground car park will be closed from 12:30am on Friday, 13 January until midnight on Sunday, 15 January.

Boat launching facilities will be available at Olivers Hill boat ramp.

It is recommended that event patrons park at Bayside Shopping Centre or Entertainment Complex (charged), Frankston Arts Centre (charged), Frankston Civic Centre (free), High Street (free), Davey Street (free), Wells Street (free) or along Kananook Creek Boulevard. Please observe time limit signage. All of these options are within a 10 minute walk to the Festival.

Pets: Pets are not permitted on the Festival site during festival operating hours. Pet owners must obey the signs at the Waterfront at all other times. Due to the fireworks on Saturday night, please ensure that pets are kept away from the site and are safely restrained.

Alcohol: Alcohol is only permitted in the Beer Garden and Bartiste Wine and Cafe Lounge and is not to be consumed elsewhere. Victoria Police and security will be in attendance.

Do the right thing, use the right bin, recycle and please bin your butts. The Waterfront Festival in a Waste Wise Event.
