Fox Creek

“It’s heavily landscaped with awaterfall, large stones and serpentinesidewalks at the entrance. Thesubdivision has a lot of curvature in theroads and rolling land. That makes itappealing to the eye.”

The entrance ties the neighborhoodinto its natural surroundings. Woodedlots and eight acres of undevelopedcommon area add to the peaceful auraof Fox Creek.

Phase 1 is 50 percent sold out, leavingabout 40 lots. Special incentives, such as100 percent financing and zero percentinterest for one year, will be availablethis weekend on all remaining Phase 1lots.

The homesites in Phase 2 will be evenlarger – about 110 to 120 feet wide – toaccommodate the demand for largerhomes, says Smith. Phase 2 constructionis set to begin “very soon,” he adds.Phase 2 lots are being made available forthe first time.

“Phase 2 goes up on a ridge. It offersviews of the lake and mountains,” thedeveloper says.

Because Fox Creek is so convenient tomany areas, it appeals to out-of-townbuyers, families with children, emptynesters and retirees.

The quiet residential community liesjust minutes from Pellissippi Parkwayand Kingston Pike, making it handy todowntown Knoxville, Oak Ridge,McGhee Tyson Airport, Maryville and,of course, the shopping, dining andentertainment choices at Turkey Creekand West Town Mall.

“It’s extremely accessible for businessand pleasure,” Smith says of the

development.Fuller agrees. “That crossroads is the

nucleus of new business activity in ourmetropolitan area,” he adds.

Fox Creek is zoned for A.L. LottsElementary, West Valley Middle andFarragut High schools.

The swimming pool and clubhouseappeal to children and adults alike. AsSmith points out, “Our amenities are in.You don’t have to wait.”

Under development for about twoyears, Fox Creek features undergroundutilities and streetlights as well. Bothlevel and basement lots are available, with large sites helping to keep acomfortable space between individualhomes.

“I like the diversity of homes beingbuilt in there,” Fuller comments. “Scottand Eric sit on the architectural reviewboard and look at all the plans. Theirrestrictions are fair, helping to providequality housing with unique featuresand keep a consistent theme.”

Homes in Fox Creek generally aretraditional in style, although thesubdivision has no requirements forminimum square footage.

“We have some of Knoxville’s bestbuilders,” says Smith, citing RonHatcher, Bryan Testerman, Paul Smiddy,Larry Liverman, Robert Murdock, PhilRiddle, Daniel Phillips, Judy Heck andFrontier Builders as examples. Most ofthese builders will have their homesopen for viewing this Sunday.

$65,000 to around $125,000.She notes that persons buying in Fox Creek are

welcome to use the builder of their choice, providedthat their home plans meet architectural reviewapproval.
