This Sunday, April 21st, the Rev. Josh Hill, chaplain at the Episcopal School of Knoxville, will preach at both services. A native of Seymour, Tennessee, Josh Hill received his Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School. He holds a bachelor's degree in religion from Emory and Henry.

Josh began serving as chaplain at the Episcopal School of Knoxville last fall after spending three years as the Director of Youth and Children's Ministry at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Sunday Morning Christian Education Adult Forum: Finding God in Pop Culture Led by Canon Rasnick, in the Haslam Room. Parents’ Parallel Led by Canon Chris Hackett, the 2nd floor of the Education building.

Monday, April 22nd

, Noonday Vocal Recital Performing will be Daniel Webb, baritone. The recital is free of charge; lunch follows for $5 per person. Please join us.

All are welcome. Jan Lewis will present a program on her Mission Trip to Haiti. The meeting is at 10:30 am, in the Great Hall, followed by lunch. If you’d like to attend, please call Janet Murray (690-5563) so we know how much food to prepare.

Habitat Blitzed! Many thanks to all who participated, whether through manual labor or financial contributions. We were able to build one of the seven houses in this year’s Habitat Knoxville Blitz in only one week. In fact, St. John’s raised slightly over the amount needed for the build and we were able to appropriate the rest of the funds to yard improvements and small appliances.
