James and his staff have led this faith community to grow in our Lord for the last four years, both internally and outwardly. I can see the beauty reflecting on God in the church building and its surroundings. All of these demonstrate the fact that the staff and the faithful have worked very closely un- der Fr. James’ leadership, ultimately showing that Christ is indeed our Lord and our King. For this, I give thanks to the almighty God, as well as to Fr. James, the staff and all the faithful in Belton. No one likes change. No one likes farewells. Although it is sad to say a good-bye, such times also provide us all with the opportunity to experience new things in life. From the bottom of our hearts, we sadly say good-bye to Fr. James, and we are sure that Fr. James will continue as a good shepherd resembling Jesus Christ, our Lord, through his words and deeds at St. Louis parish in Austin. Although I am not worthy to be Christ’s servant, with God’s grace and love, I promise that I will do all the best I can to bring forth Christ through the works of teaching, sanctifying and governing as the bishop delegates his role to a pastor. Thank you for your warm welcome. Thank you, especially, for your patience in this time of transition. Let us together build the kingdom of God on earth, especially at our home, Belton, Texas. God loves each one of you very much. Love in Christ, Fr. John Kim

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ:

Last year, I happened to meet Fr. James Misko at the annual priestly convocation. While wearing our Mass vest-

ments, I had a sudden urge to give Fr. James a compliment. I said to him: “Fr. James: Whoever follows you to

become a pastor at Christ the King will have a strong precedent to follow because you have done good things for

the faithful in Belton.”

Guess what! I have now become that someone! (^^) God always works in a mysterious way.

My sisters and brothers in Christ. My name is Fr. John Kim, and I am your new parish administrator (soon to be

pastor). I am very pleased to be with all of you. While in transition, I have heard so many good things about y’all,

and I give my special gratitude to God Almighty who has allowed me the opportunity to serve all the faithful in

Belton, Texas.

In a special way, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Fr. James and all the staff at Christ the King par-

ish. As you know more than I do, Fr. James and his staff have led this faith community to grow in our Lord for

the last four years, both internally and outwardly. I can see the beauty reflecting on God in the church building

and its surroundings. All of these demonstrate the fact that the staff and the faithful have worked very closely un-

der Fr. James’ leadership, ultimately showing that Christ is indeed our Lord and our King. For this, I give thanks

to the almighty God, as well as to Fr. James, the staff and all the faithful in Belton.

No one likes change. No one likes farewells. Although it is sad to say a good-bye, such times also provide us all

with the opportunity to experience new things in life. From the bottom of our hearts, we sadly say good-bye to Fr.

James, and we are sure that Fr. James will continue as a good shepherd resembling Jesus Christ, our Lord,

through his words and deeds at St. Louis parish in Austin.

Although I am not worthy to be Christ’s servant, with God’s grace and love, I promise that I will do all the best I

can to bring forth Christ through the works of teaching, sanctifying and governing as the bishop delegates his role

to a pastor.

Thank you for your warm welcome. Thank you, especially, for your patience in this time of transition.

Let us together build the kingdom of God on earth, especially at our home, Belton, Texas.

God loves each one of you very much.

Love in Christ,

Fr. John Kim

of the journey as Moses and the Israelites watch God guide and pro-vide. You’ll travel back into Bible times—without ever setting foot out-

side our community.

Each day, your family members can become part of history as they see,

hear, touch and even taste what it was like to live in the Bible-times wilderness! You’ll explore the Israelite Camp tents, visit Moses, take

part in games, dance to lively Bible songs and sample tasty tidbits as you discover more about Moses’ adventures. These experiences make

God’s Word come alive with new meaning to all who participate!
