Join us this summer for exciting theme filled weeks that include field trips (in house and away), arts & crafts, sports, games, science projects, drama/talent show, academic advancement prep study, foreign language, cooking and music. Individual Tutoring based on each child’s needs is provided daily

Camp Cresco runs May 28th through August 7th- Students may sign up for one week for a particular theme. Part-time programs are also available, for 2 or 3 days a week. Campers must be between 5 and 12 years old. CMS T-shirt must be worn during field trip.

Camp Activities run from 8:30-3:30pm. Full Day (6:30am-6:30pm) Before and After available for an additional $10 day or $35/wk. Afternoon enrichment programs are offered by outside vendors for separate cost.

Daily Schedule: ( Field Trip activities between 9:30am-2:30pm on Field Trip Day) 6:30am – 8:30am Before school-Free choice of activities 8:30am – 10:30am Theme for the week- Arts & crafts, sports, games, science projects, cooking and

music. (Morning snacks provided as self-service style). Individual tutoring based on academic needs.

10:30am – 11:45am Outdoor sports, games, 11:45am – 12:15pm Lunch: Nutrition, table manner education. Clean up 12:15pm – 2:15pm Choice of quiet activities: Nap time, Academic Advancement Prep with teacher’s help (work book provided by parents), reading, or foreign language lessons. Students are allowed to use personal electric device (Ipad, DS, laptop, etc) for learning and entertainment. No inappropriate video games/websites permitted. 2:15pm - 3:30pm Afternoon snacks, group game activities, talent show, end of day performance

review, next day project review. 3:30pm – 6:30pm Enrichment programs, outdoor sports, and games. Afterschool free choice of

activities. ***For the safety of your child and other campers, if a child has behavior concerns in school or field trip time. We reserve

the right to withhold the child’s field trip with no refund.

This kick off to camp will be out of this world. Our campers will study the solar system, learn what it takes to be an astronaut, and sample some out of this world Astronaut foods!

2. June 3-7: Animal Kingdom www.zooatlanta.org

Campers will put themselves in the role of Zoologist, studying various species of animals, their habitats and sharing experiences of caring for family pets. 3. June 10-14: Cooking Caper www.youngchefsacademy.com

A fun filled week of cooking and recipe creating. We will learn about the food pyramid, measuring, and develop our own recipes. Each day we will create our own snack. On Friday, we will cook our own lunch.

4. June 17-21: Art – A – Palooza www.thehudgens.org

Let the creativity flow with this week of painting, clay, and pastels. We will also make our own puppets and put on a show. On Friday, tour our gallery and experience the masterpieces we have created! 5. June 24-28: Prehistoric Adventures www.fsc.fernbank.edu

Our junior Paleontologists will learn about the many dinosaurs that roamed the earth. We will go on a dig for dinosaur bones, create dinosaur eggs and make our own fossils. Each camper will do a study of their favorite dinosaur!

6. July 1-5: Celebrate America www.stonemountainpark.org

Learn about the USA, GA, and our own town’s history! Put on your star spangled gear and join us for a rocking good time including a water day and cook out! We will enjoy speeches from all campers on “Why I Love America”. 7. July 8-12: Science Explosion www.cdc.gov/museum/tours

Let the learning explosion begin as campers participate in science experiments and projects: Solid to Liquid, magic chemistry fun, and “exploding” soda! 8. July 15-19: Around the Globe www.georgiaaquarium.org

Bon Voyage as we travel the world learning about different countries, cultures, arts, food and dance. We have an International pot luck lunch on Friday. 9. July 22-26: Wild, Wild West www.sixflags.com

Campers will learn to live like the Pioneers did! We will make our own covered wagons, map our journey across the US, build a teepee and cook outdoors. 10. July 29-Aug 2: Future Stars Camp www.childrensmuseumatlanta.org

Children share their dreams/goals of what they want to do when they grow up. We learn some skills needed for professional careers and set goals to reach them.
