• In 1925, Joseph and Theo Libert buy the paint factory and start producing decorative paints.

• About 30 years ago there were two highly specialized companies : Libert Paints and Oxyplast, pioneer as a producer of highly specialized powder coatings.

• First Belgian producer with Ecolabel.

• In 2016 Libert Paints moved to a new factory in Ghent.

• Today, the company is run by the fourth generation.

• Founded in 1874 by the family Deny as a shop in the center of the city of Ghent, Belgium, the heart of Europe.
