HISTORICAL PROGRAMME TO SUPPORT AND PRO-MOTE SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN AGAINST UNIFORM CIVILCORD LAUNCHED BY ALL INDIA MUSLIM PERSONAL LAWBOARD

It is an undeniable reality that anti-Islamic elements

Page 8: FOUNDATION STONE OF JAMIYA QASMIYA IN …...ful Madrasa established, was Darul Uloom Deoband in 1866, then Madrasa Mazahirul Uloom of Saharanpur, afterward Darul Uloom Nadvatul Ulama

all over the world are leaving no stone unturned to elimi-nate Islam and Muslims from the surface of the earth. There are some communal outfits and organizations inIndian, which have a few bigoted members who alwaystry to uproot the evergreen tree of Islam from the moth-erland of India Muslims. Hence, they raise voice againsttriple talaq, khula, faskh(dissolution of marriage) and in-heritance time and again. This year the NDA governmentasked the Law Commission to examine the issue of Uni-form Civil Code, an issue that is very dear to BJP, RSS andSangh Pariwar . In a bid to counter the Law Commission’smove of asking opinions on the very issue, the all IndiaMuslim Personal Law Board launched a signature cam-paign against the Uniform Civil Cord to oppose any kindof interference with Shariath (Islamic laws). To supportand promote the above mentioned campaign, JameahQasmiya Arabiayah Kharod organized a historicalprogramme in its beautiful Masjid, presided over by HazratMaulana Muhammad Hanif Sb Shaikhul Hadith at veryJamia. A large number of Ulama, teachers of Madrasas,Imams and other dignitaries across Gugarat attended theprogramme. On this occasion, Hazrat Shaikhul Hadith Sbshed light on the social Masail and personal laws of Mus-lims in the light of Qu’an and Hadith. He urged Ulama andImams to illustrate the concepts of Nikah and Talaq andtheir Masail with accurate references. He asked them notto be emotional.

In the last forms prepared by the AIMPLB, were dis-tributed among the attenders.

The forms read: “We are fully satisfied with the com-mands of Islamic laws, especially on orders related tonikah, talaq, khula, faskh and wirasat. And we stronglydeny the possibility of any type of interference withthem”.

All people were appealed to fill up them with theirnames and addresses and submit them to their respec-tive responsible Imams. It should be clear enough thatsome Imams from different areas were made responsibleto collect the forms for the sake of people’s convenience. The filled-in and signed forms were forwarded to AIMPLB,which proposed to submit them to the president and theLaw Commission.

However, this programme was tremendously suc-cessful and the audience returned with good messages, cherished ambitions and strong zeal.

Reformatory Programme : Jamiya conducted a suc-cessful reformatory programme in order to bring theupheaval changes to the life of the students and the teach-ers alike. J/Q invited a legendary Reformer and popularscholar and Spiritual leader Hazrat, Mufti Ahmad KhanPuri Damat Barakatuh to accomplish this task, hehounered the management to accept their humble invi-tation and infused the hearts of the participants by hishearty and warm spiritual admonition. In fact, all the at-tendees were saturated with his finest and preciousspeech and left the meeting filled with new power and
