My name is Brittany Farmer and I am the newest member of the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation staff. I began working as the Annual Giving Coordinator in April 2014. I am a native of Rolla, MO, but recently returned from the Springfield, MO area, where I lived and worked for eight years.

One of the primary things that drew me to this position is my personal desire to help others through my work. The non-profit health care sector was one that I had not experienced previously, but having been raised in Rolla, I have a very strong grasp of the tremendous impact that Phelps County Regional Medical Center (PCRMC) has on the community and surrounding areas. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be even a small part of that effort.

Honoring Your Caregiver as a Guardian AngelAs the Annual Giving Coordinator, one of my primary responsibilities is administrating the Guardian Angel caregiver recognition program. The Guardian Angel program provides a philanthropic opportunity for grateful patients, their loved ones and even members of the PCRMC staff to recognize a special caregiver who they believe makes a difference and provides exceptional service to patients of PCRMC. Guardian Angels receive a recognition certificate, a comment card showing the kind words that were said by the donor and a custom-crafted lapel pin to wear proudly on their uniform.

Your Donations Make a DifferenceContributions received through the Guardian Angel program enable the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation to enhance the quality of patient care, and quality of life, of individuals in all PCRMC communities. Anyone wishing to contribute through the Guardian Angel program has the flexibility to choose which fund their donation is directed, and thus, how it is used by the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation.

The Guardian Angel program is an important part of the day-to-day operation of PCRMC. It allows patients and their loved ones the opportunity to fulfill their desire to recognize those that have cared for them. Most importantly, it provides necessary contributions that allow superior health care to continue to be available for our community.
