If the size of foundation (B or L) is more than the punching width (= [Cx+ 2*1.5*d]

or [Cy + 2*1.5*d]), two-thirds of the tensile reinforcement shall be provided in the

punching width. If the size of the foundation is less than punching width, the tensile

reinforcement can be distributed uniformly.
