The upper anterior teeth were restored using Ceram∙X ® duo+ Nano Ceramic restorative from DENTSPLY. Firstly, the impressions were taken and diagnostic wax-up was made. The wax-up was used to form a silicone matrix. The shade was selected using VITA shade guide (E3 for enamel, D3 and D4 for dentine). The teeth were restored one by one. Enamel surface was roughened with fine diamond burs and etched with phosphoric acid. An XP BOND ® total- etch dental adhesive was used. The restorations were finished with fine diamond burs and polished with Pogo™. Using the Ceram∙X ® duo+ nanohybrid composite an aesthetically satisfying result was achieved. Handling of the composite material was remarkably easy and convenient. Ceram∙X ® duo+ provides a wide variety of shades, which can be combined to achieve optimal coloration. Discussion and conclusion

As the lower teeth are not visible during normal function, the

decision was made firstly restore the upper teeth for aesthetical

reasons.

The upper anterior teeth were restored using Ceram∙X® duo+ Nano Ceramic restorative from DENTSPLY. Firstly, the

impressions were taken and diagnostic wax-up was made. The wax-up was used to form a silicone matrix. The

shade was selected using VITA shade guide (E3 for enamel, D3 and D4 for dentine). The teeth were restored one by

one. Enamel surface was roughened with fine diamond burs and etched with phosphoric acid. An XP BOND® total-

etch dental adhesive was used. The restorations were finished with fine diamond burs and polished with Pogo™.

Using the Ceram∙X® duo+ nanohybrid composite an aesthetically satisfying result was achieved. Handling of

the composite material was remarkably easy and convenient. Ceram∙X® duo+ provides a wide variety of

shades, which can be combined to achieve optimal coloration.
