steel without compromiseFoster has always been a specialist when it comes to working steel and takes great care to use materials able to provide the best performance. Our entire range is made with AISI 304 - 18/10 austenitic steels. Thanks to the high percentages of chrome and nickel they contain, they give a particularly bright fi nish, are extremely sturdy and absolutely resistant to rust and corrosion.

Ekotek: not just steelThere’s also room for an innovative synthetic material amongst Foster’s proposals.

Ekotek is a composite product containing resins and mineral charges with exceptional mechanical and thermal characteristics. Since it is so easy to work with, it’s perfect for

making both worktops and shaped appliances like sinks. The catalogue illustrates some of the solutions as alternatives to the corresponding steel models.

A classy and contemporary idea, to be installed under the worktop; available in various types of sinks, with soft or squa-re design.

Undermount

The fl ush-mount sink has no ver-tical edge, and must be sunk in-to a one-millimetre deep recess in the worktop’s surface.

Flush-mount

An original edge, with an inclined, 3-mm-high profi le, matching an extreme elegance with the easiness of installation.

Flat-edge

Traditional built-in with the verti-cal, 8-mm edge.

Standard

built-in and beyondThe methods with which worktops can be built-in have become increasingly more varied and customized. Foster was the fi rst sink manufacturer to have researched and used the new recessing methods and has thus acquired a great deal of experience. It now offers the most comprehensive range available on the market, with fl ush-mount, fl at-edge and undermount installation.

sturdy sinksIf you want to fi nd out how robust our sinks are, you just ha-ve to weigh them. Foster uses steel that’s thicker than the type generally used by other manufacturers for all types of sink (welded or single-pressed) and price class.

1mm >200mm spacious bowlsThanks to the pioneering manufacturing technology used, all the bowls in Foster sinks provide a generous depth (even the single-pressed versions, i.e. formed from a sin-gle sheet of steel). The bowls in many of the versions are more than 20 cm deep, thus sizeable and practical for all washing operations.

automatic waste fi ttingThe automatic drain with remote control is part of the standard equipment supplied with some of the models. A very convenient accessory that saves you from wetting your hands when the bowl needs emptying. On request, many other models can be customized with the double hole required for installation of the remote control or, as an alternative, the practical soap or detergent dispenser.

combinationsEvery Foster product is part of an integrated

solution for the kitchen environment. Sinks and cooker hobs made with the same materials,

with the same design and the same fi nishes.

waste fi ttingsFoster sinks are equipped with a generously sized 3.5” waste fi tting and practical strainer plug that prevents solids from fl owing away with the waste water. The 3.5” drain empties the bowl very quickly and allows the Foster waste-shredder, which is compatible with all models, to be used. (Compatibility with the waste-shredders of other manufacturers is not guaranteed).

Kelvin is an innovative mixer in which the water flow is illuminated by a coloured light, depending on the temperature: blue for cold water, red for hot water, purple if mixed. Electric power is not required as it’s the water that powers the leds by flowing through two turbines. Unpleasant scalding and unnecessary use of hot water are things of the past thanks to visual temperature control. Stainless steel products do not need any particular servicing. However, they do require a certain care and use of adequate detergents for daily cleaning. Dirt Control System: can be used with the Intensive, Normal and Delicate programs. Allows the wash settings to be customized to a further degree, depending on the amount of dirt on the croc-kery.

CERAMIC GLASS INDUCTION HOBSSPECIFICATIONSInduction technology has been available for some time, but only recently has it achieved extraordinary quality and safety standards.Foster hobs feature latest generation technology, ground-breaking as to performance, power delivery, ventilation system and quick cooking features.

Pot Detector: not only do Foster hobs detect the saucepans standing on them, but they also calculate the area they cover. This system allows the energy to be used even mo-re effi ciently. Moreover, the plates switch off automatically when the pan is removed.

Smart Fan System: correct ventilation is essential if the induction hob is to function in the best possible way. The Foster system automatically regulates the amount of venti-lation to suit the temperatures reached.

Powerboost: this function increases the power delivered by up to 60%. It is ideal for bringing liquids to the boil as fast as possible.

Safety: all Foster’s electric cooker hobs feature the most modern and sophisticated safety protections:centralized power-off function for the hob; child-proof safety lock; Safety System that activates if the hob is accidentally powered; Overfl ow detector that automati-cally turns off the plate and activates a warning buzzer; automatic deactivation after three hours on to prevent accidents caused by forgetfulness.

High-Light plates: Foster hobs are all equipped with high-effi ciency High-Light halogen plates that are very quick to heat up. The 9 different power delivery levels make the hobs extremely versatile to use and provide constant temperatures for delicate cooking operations.

Induction and halogen hobs can be installed either resting on the top or with the fl ush-mount method, by creating a recess in the worktop the same depth as the thickness of the glass.Moreover, the majority of the hobs have a special slanting edge (chamfered) that gives a clean and elegant fi nish with both the instal-lation methods and perfectly matches the Flat-edge sinks.

Oven Specifi cations

Side openingIn models with this feature, the door opens fully through 180° and can be installed opening either towards the right or left, as desired. This makes access to the oven extremely practical and con-venient.

Fully extractable runners Most of the models feature (as part of the standard equipment or as an optional accessory) telesco-pic runners on three levels that get the most out of the available space and facilitate every operation. They allow you to completely remove the shelves and pans during cooking in full safety.

Self-cleaning with pyrolysisThis is a process that carbonizes organic substan-ces at a temperature of 500°C. The ash residue can be easily removed with a damp cloth. The len-gth of the pyrolysis cycle in Foster ovens is auto-matically adjusted according to how dirty the oven is (from 30 min to 2h 15 min). The safety lock pre-vents the door from being opened at temperatures above 300°C.

Easy Clean enamel The special Easy Clean enamel gives a perfect non-stick fi nish to the oven interior and the acces-sories supplied. The surfaces are extremely long lasting and very easy to clean thanks to their hard-ness and minimum degree of porosity.

Thermocouple probeA highly professional accessory, the thermo-couple probe lets you check the temperature inside the food being cooked. A sound signal indicates that the right temperature has been reached, which you can set on the display, and automatically deactivates the heating elements of the oven.

StopSol glass The special darkening and refl ecting treat-ment of the external glass gives the oven an elegant yet aggressive design. The inside of the oven stays dark when not in operation. When the inside light is switched on the food inside is clearly visible.
