Let’s look at the EUR AUD trade that we entered on Feb 24th, 2011.

• We begin by trying to analyze the market as best as we can using Elliott Wave theory.

• We look for a familiar pattern, something that we can work with.



Oh, we have something...Feb 9th, 2011



• We observe an impulsive wave up.• It is followed by a move down.• We think that it is logical that the impulsive

wave up will be followed by a corrective move down.

• Based on Elliott Wave theory, a correction is usually made of 3 waves. A, B and C.

• We mark it on the chart.



Just because we expect it and draw it on our charts does not mean that it will surely happen.

This is where patience and strategy play a major role.



We look at many different pairs and do the same with many of them.

Almost all possible pairs are analyzed, especially the ones with clear and recognizable patterns.



Now comes the difficult part –

In this case we had to wait for almost 2 weeks!

Price is where we thought that it should get to...

Price begins to go down.

We place our stop loss at 1.3890

We risk 3% of our account’s balance.



Friday, Feb 25th, 2011Market closes.



So far so good.

By this point we have moved our stop loss to 1.3800 and closed a

half of our position.

half of our position – which means that no matter where price goes to, we can not lose!
