Structuring your Outing

Types of outing play - You’ll have many options to choose from - yourouting coordinator can help. Here are the two most popular.

• Shotgun Best Ball Scramble is the most popular, fastest and easiesttype of play. All four players tee off; the team selects the best shot andplays from that position. The process continues until the hole is com-pleted. Please note: availability of shotgun starts is limited.

• Reserved Tee- Time Tournament. This format is the best for asmaller group. Each participant is given a specific tee-time and playbegins at hole number one. Your group can decide if a best ball, orindividual scores format will be in effect.

Handicapping players. To make play enjoyable for golfers of every skill level youmay consider using a handicapping system. For one time events, a chart is used tosubtract a specific number of holes/strokes for a players score. This levels the playingfield and helps less experienced golfers enjoy their round, and most importantlybecome eligible for any low score prizes that may be part of your event.

Outing options You can customize your outing with any or all of the followingoptions. Remember, if you would like to add a special type of event just ask - we’ll doour best to accommodate your needs. Each of these options is an extra cost - please
