More Lender "Mistakes"
Beth Ann Cottrell testified in a deposition that she signed off on thousands of foreclosures for JP Morgan Chase even though she never reviewed the documents.
An employee of Lender Processing Services, Linda Green, signed foreclosure affidavits claiming to be an executive of the foreclosing lender. This was done in foreclosures involving numerous lenders (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, US Bank, etc.) and in many cases her signature was forged by other employees of Lender Processing Services. Not content to pretend to by an executive of the foreclosing lender, at times Lender Processing Services would make up a company name for the mortgagee assignee. Names such as "Bogus Assignee", "Bad Bene".
