Retrograde Motion and Why Interpretations RepeatSometimes you will notice the interpretation is repeated, because at certain times, when viewed from theEarth, the planet involved may appear to move backwards, then forwards over a specific period, re-creatingthe same 'transit' several times.

Like when 2 trains travelling in the same direction, pass one another at different speeds, the slower train whenviewed from the fast one appears to go backwards. This apparent backwards motion of planets is known as'retrograde' motion, when this occurs it is indicated by the RX retrograde symbol.

Astrologers treat triple transits quite seriously as it shows where you have an opportunity to think again aboutyour actions before the aspect finally completes.

This is, in fact, a common event. It happens when the transiting planet goes retrograde. The transiting planetcontacts the natal planet first moving forward ("direct"), then it appears to reverse direction, contacting thenatal planet a second time.
