Activating Adobe DRM

1. Start Adobe Acrobat Reader (v.7 preferred), and choose File…Digital Editions…Authorize Devices.

2. If MS Internet Explorer is your default browser, it will launch and take you to the Adobe DRM Activator page. (If Firefox is your default browser, we recommend pasting the URL into MSIE.)

3. If you have a Hotmail account, click the silver sign-in button. If you do not have a Hotmail account, you must sign up for a free Microsoft .NET Passport using the link provided.

4. Sign in with your Hotmail (LiveID, .NET PassPort) to begin the activation process.

5. Click the “Activate” button to begin the activation process.

6. Click the alert bar in your browser to allow the ActiveX control to run, and then click the “Run” button in the dialog that appears next.

7. Click the alert bar in your browser to allow the activation file to download and run.

8. You may choose to run/open the activation file from the dialog box prompt with Acrobat Reader; or download and then open the file. The file will be named "SNxxxx.edn". The xxx represents random numbers that will appear in the filename.

9. The file will open and activate Digital Editions. The following dialog should appear in Acrobat Reader if activation is successful.

8. Activation was successful! To view your digital editions (e-books) in the future, choose File…Digital Editions…My Digital Editions.

Now you can select either Vault or WetFeet Guides for download!
