The nature of the change will depend very much on the industry itself. Change won’t wait for us: business leaders, educators and governments all need to be proactive in up-skilling and retraining people so everyone can benefit from the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Question remains, are we

INTRODUCTION

Some people think leadership is a skill you are born with and that leaders have a natural ability to make others follow them. Some call it charisma; others call it power or superior social skills. When they talk, others listen and do. At Be Happy in Life, we believe that leaders are not born; they are made. It is true that some children have more skills naturally, but every child, with the right guidance, mindset, tools and knowledge can step up and be a leader.

In the past few years, working with people of different age groups & nationalities across the world, we discovered that many people who think that leadership is a born ability also think it takes a long time to raise leaders. We think leadership is a mindset that can be shifted in a very short time and with that shift, a new leader is born.

All parents have dreams for there kids. Some realistic, some not, but basically, parents should dream for their kids to be happy,

healthy and fulfilled.

Anything more than that is a real bonus,

because if your child gets all three of those, they will

live , long, happy lives.

Over the years we have experienced dramatic change happening through these student leadership workshops Once the seed is planted, once the shift happens, the process starts and the student is ready to take the journey towards leadership.

Time and time again, principals, teachers and parents tell us they saw a significant shift in the students’ attitude towards self and others as soon as they came out of the workshop or camp. For this, we are very proud.

Since children's dreams tend to be immature and/or unrealistic those dreams are destined to be destroyed by life in general. If not by parents then later by reality. A good parent would encourage dreams but still make sure the child understood the limits of real life. They help their children develop more realistic dreams. A person has to be able to make peace with the choices that they have made in life. The key to happiness and peace is living in one’s truth and being authentic. That usually means following your own dreams.

Hobbies are not

careers but they can become careers.

Or morph into careers. Work is too important

for all of us and too large a part of someone’s

life to dislike or even hate.

A person has to feel passionate

about their work and really

love it.
