After-School Circus Program: a partner-ship with the City of San Diego Park & Recreation Dept. Funders include Cirque du Soleil; Shawn & Julia

Crawford; The David C. Copley, Boys & Girls, and Tippett

Foundations; and La Jolla Kiwanis Club.

After-School Circus Program Teaches Circus & Life

In2015-16fiscalyear(July2015-June2016),FernStreet’ssecond after a 3-year hiatus, earned income increased 754% to $75,045, government 468% to $40,073. Support for Fern Street Circus and its social circus work is gaining strength!

It’s a program that encourages kids to express themselves freely without any judgement – the importance of discipline,

poise and responsibility. My daughter looks forward to class every Tuesday with a big smile on her face.

Maria Salas, mother of Delilah; Circus student, 1996-98

Fern Street’s Strong Growth Increase in earned & contributed income

Fern Street Circus is amazing! The staff...have a way of making practice and hard work be fun. Through fitness they teach the kids the wonder of the circus.
