Installing LoiLoScope

Installation

Download LoiLoScope (free version)Download LoiLoScope (free version) to your computer. Select “Save File”and download “setupen.exe” to your desktop.

Double click setupjp.exe and installOnce setupen.exe has been downloaded to your desktop, double click and begin installing. Installation will take a few minutes. Please refrain from doing any other work.

To use Super LoiLoScope you will be required to download LoiLoScope (free version) first. Please confirm that LoiLoScope (free version) works on your computer before installing Super LoiLoscope. Download LoiLoScope (free version) from the link shown below. http://loilo.tv/product/1/desc/2

For those who already have LoiLoScope (free version), jump to step 4 to install Super LoiLoScope.

LoiLoScope will start once installation is complete.Drag & Drop movie files on to the LoiLoScope screen. Once you have confirmed that LoiLoScope works on your computer, continue and upgrade to Super LoiLoScope.

Please update Windows and install the 3 components shown below.（please refer to your PC maker on how to update Windows）・.Net Framework3.5sp1・DirectX・Visual C++2008 run-time

After you have installed all the components, go back and follow the instructions from step 2.

Installation

Download Super LoiLoScope key fileAfter you have purchased Super LoiLoScope, download the key file from your account at loilo.tv.

Drag &Drop the key file onto LoiLoScope (free version)Drag & Drop the key file onto LoiLoScope (free version). Once the key file has been confirmed, LoiLoScope will close and Super LoiLoScope will start. Installation is complete.

Installation

Still unable to install Super LoiLoScopeThe key file may be damaged. Download the key file to your desktop again and follow the installing procedure from step 4.If you are still unable to install Super LoiLoScope, please contact our company. Make sure LoiLoScope (free version) works properly on your computer. If it does not, install LoiLoScope (free version) again. Once LoiLoScope can be used properly on your computer, reinstall Super LoiLoScope.

Start up / QuitAfter installing LoiLoScope, LoiLoScope.exe icon will appear on your desktop. Double click to being LoiLoScope.The video folder will automatically open when starting LoiLoScope. Drag&drop movie files, picture files, music files you want to edit on to LoiLoScope.

After the second time, LoiLoScope will open at the same condition it was when last closed. With Super LoiLoScope, name and save your workspace onto your local files. Drag&drop new movie files, picture files, music files and divide each project with a new desktop.

Quit LoiLoScope

Minimize View full screen

When working with full screen, quit LoiLoScope with the X button shown on the upper right hand corner of the LoiLoScope display. When not working with full screen, quit LoiLoScope by closing the window. LoiLoScope will automatically save the thumbnails and timelines on your desktop so it can open in the same state it was before.

When starting LoiLoScope, your video folder will automatically open. Drag & Drop videos, music, pictures onto your LoiLoScope desktop.

BasicsAll media files on LoiLoScope appear as a thumbnail. Place your mouse on the thumbnail to play, click to start editing.To throw a thumbnail, drag and let go. Any editing or erasing you do on LoiLoScope will not effect the original file.

Drag & Drop

At the location of your cursor, the desktop will zoom in and zoom out by moving the mouse wheel back and forth. If you do not have a wheel, drag the mouse left and right with a right click to zoom in and zoom out.

The screen will zoom out once from the location of the click. If the screen is already in a position where everything is visible, the screen will zoom in for a better position.

The screen will zoom out again so you can view all thumbnails, timelines, and magnets on the desktop.

LoiLoScope Desktop

There are 4 different objects on the LoiLoScope Desktop. Be sure to check how to use each object and learn the basic operating methods for using LoiLoScope.

ThumbnailVideo, music, picture files that have been dragged onto LoiLoScope appear as a thumbnail. Touch the thumbnail with your mouse to play. Click to edit. To throw thumbnails, drag and let go.

Magnet:Organize scattered thumbnails with the magnet. Customize the color, length, and the name of the magnet. By dragging a folder onto LoiLoScope, all the files inside will appear under one magnet. Also, use the trash can magnet for unwanted thumbnails. (Go to page 15 to learn more about magnets)

Timeline: Drag & Drop thumbnails onto the timeline window to attach and play all your materials together. (Go to page 21 to learn more about the timeline)

Home menu: Click the tab shown at the top of the desktop to view the various icons under the Home menu. The Home menu include icons such as Save and Help and other menu options such as the Effect menu and the Text menu.

Erasing thumbnailsWhile editing, a round black button will appear on the upper right hand side of the thumbnail. Click the button to erase the thumbnail. (Go to page 16 to learn how to erase many thumbnails at once)

Editing is easy. Just isolate the section you want to use with the in and out points.

To play a thumbnail, place your cursor on top of the thumbnail. To begin editing, click the file you want to edit, and the display will zoom in and the editing tools will appear.

Double click to view Full Screen Double click a thumbnail to view in full screen. Double click again to return to the original view. You can also edit at full screen. Bring your mouse to the botton of the screen to view the editing tools.

Isolate a section you like and click the copy button to create material for your final movie. The in & out marks will be saved when copying the thumbnails.

Throw thumbnails

Once you have made enough material, throw thumbnails around and sort as if you were to sort documents on your own desk. Select a thumbnail, drag and throw. For an example, throw thumbnails you will use on the left, and material you might use later on the right. Roughly divide the thumbnails by use.

Save desktop Icon　The Save desktop icon saves your workspace completely. Click the icon to name the project, save, and open a new desktop. For more on how to save your desktop, go to p29.

Magnet Icon Create a magnet. On how to use a magnet go to p15.

Save Icon　Choose a format and save your movies locally. Choose from more formats such as .avi .wmv .mov with Super LoiLoScope.

YouTube Upload　Upload your movies onto YouTube. LoiLoScope will automatically divide movies that are too long and exceed 10 minutes when uploading. LoiLoScope.

Magnet : attract & organize

change name closeTo change the length, drag the arrowon the side of the magnet.

Click the color selector to change the color of the magnet. Find a color you like and click. The center is black.

Click the magnet icon from the Home menu and create a magnet. Drag the magnet and attract thumbnails to group and organize. The color, name, and lengh of themagnet can be customized. The magnet attracts thumbnails that come close by. Throw thumbnails toward the magnet and organize.

The single TrashCan magnet on the LoiLoScope desktop, plays the same rold as the TrashCan on your computer. With the same qualities as a normal magnet, the TrashCan magnet can be thrown, can attract thumbnails, and can also appear as a shortcut magnet.

By clicking the TrashCan icon, the thumbnails inside will disappear completely from the desktop.

Right click a thumbnail and all the magnets on the desktop will appear as a heart shaped shortcut magnet, distinguished by color and name. Hold the right click and drag the thumbnail to a heart. The thumbnail will automatically jump to the selected magnet. Right click a magnet to do the same thing. All the thumbnails within the magnet will just to the selected magnet.

Blur The blur effect will unfocus, or blur, the whole screen

Brightness Adjust brightness and contrast of the image

Color Balance Adjust the color balance of the image

Deinterlace Deinterlace will remove any flickering or interlacing of the picture and make it clear

Edge The Edge effect will emphasize the outline of the picture and cut our the rest.

Threshold The threshold effect will emphasize anything above the applointed brightness, and cut out everything else.

Effect Icon While editing a thumbnail, go to the Effect menu and place yourmouse over each icon to preview the effect. Click to apply the effect.

To view the effect tray, bring your cursor to the left side of a thumbnail and click the red button. Select the effect you would like to adjust on the right, and adjust the intensity of the effect on the left.

Text thumbnail Click the Text menu icon to open a text thumbnail.

The text thumbnail allows you to insert a message (just like a post card)within a certain design. By dragging this onto a timeline and over laying the thumbnail ontop of another thumbnail, the message will appear within the movie. You can customize the background, font, size, style, shadow and control zooming and rotation within the timeline. By adding effets to the text thumbnail, you can even change the tone & shade of the color.

To view the text tray, bring your cursor to the left side of the text thumbnail and a red button will appear. Click, and the text tray will open. Select a round button shown on the right to edit the background, font, and shadow of the text. Customize the settings on the left side.

Click the Timeline icon inside the Home menu to open a new timeline. Drag & drop thumbnails onto the timeline, and the thumbnails will appear as a bar measued by the length of the clip (as shown below). These bars are called timeline bars. On the timeline, attach and overlay the timeline bars together to create one final movie.

Click the background to view the whole timeline.

If you place your cursor on the timeline and turn the mouse wheel up, you can zoom in and out on the timeline and edit with more precision. For users who do not have a mouse, left click and drag the cursor up and down

Also edit from inside the timeline. Click the middle of a clip and move the in/out points.

An automatic transition will come in effect when overlaying two bars.

Drag in/out points to the beginning or end of a clip. The points will change its color to the color of that bar. Also, by aligning two clips together, the two bars will turn into the same color.

Close timeline

Double click the pink bar to set the in/out points exactly at the beginning and end of all your material. The pink bar can be dragged left and right.

The seek bar on the timeline shows where the movie is presently playing. Click any place on the timeline to view the length of time from the in-point to that location. By putting your cursor over either in or out, the length of the isolated location will be shown.

Apply an effect to your clip while editing a timeline bar. On the effect menu, place your mouse over an effect to preview, click to appy the effect to your clip.

Control the strength of the effects on the Effect tray. Click the x to close the effect tray.

Timeline: Effect

Bring your mouse to the left side of the window and a red button will appear. Click the button to open and close the effect tray.

Easily upload your movie with the YouTube icon under the Home menu. Enter your ID and password and click OK. Once the opload is complete, your YouTube account will automatically open. Super LoiLoScope will automatically upload within the 100MB limit, and divide the movie if it exceeds 10 minutes.*Please create a YouTube account before hand.

Upload your movie onto YouTube

Save your thumbnail or timeline by clicking the Save icon from the Home menu. Select the format, quality, and location to save your video. Formats include avi, mov for QuickTime, wmv.

Saving your Desktop

To save your current desktop and start a new project, click the Save desktop Icon from the Home menu. Double click or drag & drop project fiels onto the desktop to open a saved project. When opening a new desktop, make sure your current desktop is saved.
