Eligibility of Candidates

Chartered Accountants who had undergone the three months residential programme organized by the Institute and administered by the NIFM, Faridabad as well as L.N. Mittal Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur and would be completing the articleship training by 30th June, 2009.

Introduction

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is running a three months residential programme for CA students particularly who have recently passed the Final examination or has undergone the Final Course. The programme will help the students in imbibing the professional skills required for effective functioning in business organisations and profession. The Programme would focus on development of communication skills, personal qualities, interpersonal and teamwork skills, working in a complex and turbulent environment, problem solving skills and leadership skills..

Participation Fee:

There is no participation fee for this Special Campus Placement Programme.

Indicative Procedure of Conducting Special Campus Interview for Companies

• The companies participating will have to offer a minimum CTC of Rs. 5.5 lacs Per Annum to all the candidates

• No. of Candidates Available for selection : Approx. 120• All arrangements for the PPT & Interview would be made

by the Institute at the NIFM, Pali Road Faridabad.• The timings for the interview would be from 10.00 A.M.

to 6.00 P.M.• Last Date of registration for participating companies

shall be 11th May, 2009.• A Company can shortlist any number of candidates.

Cont..• Once a company has selected any candidate and

the offer is accepted by the candidate, it is the responsibility of the company to inform the organizers providing the offer letter is duly signed by both the companies executive as well as candidate

• List of Selected Candidates should be announced on the same day of interview.

• Committee for Members in Industry

• Companies should not interact directly with candidates for collecting hardcopies of Bio data etc.

• Correspondence with the recruiting entities/ students shall be done via e-mail only.

Cont..• The Institute shall provide adequate infrastructure like a laptop,

LCD projector, LCD screen etc. to the participating companies for making the presentations

• Pre Placement Talk of the Companies may be conducted on the day of recruitment.

• The companies need to specify clearly

- Geographical location & no. of positions available .

- Job profile with description, responsibilities, preferably Place of posting in Department. e.g if a company has posted 5 vacancies on portal for Corporate Banking, then the break-up of positions should be mentioned as Credit Mgr-2, Relationship Mgr-1, Global Investment Banking-2 etc .

• The timing of the shift i.e US ,UK or India.

• Age limit, if any.

Cont..• How many vacancies exist for General/OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates.

• If there is any cut off percentage of Marks/attempt in CA Foundation/Inter/Final exam.

• The company should also inform the about process of recruitment i.e whether the company will hold GD/ Written Test/Personal Interviews

• Companies shall not ask for filling up of any type of bond for joining their organisations. If any company requires bond with the candidates, then they must specify in advance the:

– Period of the bond

– The amount of the Bond

• Companies participating in Special Campus Placement Programme will have to give offer letter to the selected candidates in writing on the same date of interview itself.
