Your Patron Saint
St. LinusThe Second Pope
In all of the New Testament, there areonly three men mentioned who held the position of Pope, or Bishop of Rome, as it was called then. Besides the first Bishop (Pope) St. Peter, there was St. Linus and St. Clement. While there is considerable argument as to who followed the Prince of the Apostles, many agree St. Peter bestowed his clergy in Rome to Linus, making him the second official Pope. What is known about him is he came from the Tuscan village of Volterra, his family name was Herculanus and his mother’s name was Claudia. He served as Bishop of Rome fromthe time of St. Peter’s martyrdom to his owndeath on Sept 23, 67 A.D.
Your Horoscope
You were born on the cusp of Virgo and Libra
Persons born on the cusp of Virgo-Libra are practical, hard working, diligent, meticulous, attractive, logical, charming, shy, modest, efficient, romantic, devoted and polite. They can also be unfair, aloof, easily influenced, self-indulgent, fussy, insecure, have hypochondriac tendencies and indecisive. The Cusp of Beauty sounds pleasant, but it can be a harsh taskmaster.
Those born on the Virgo-Libra cusp enjoy beauty and all things sensual. They may find themselves drawn to the arts, attractive people, and precious objects or wish to make themselves and their surroundings more pleasing to the eye. They have a great mind for details, and do a terrific job running a business or planning a large gathering because of this talent.
Dubious Achievement
Finally…
On September 7, 1963, the ABC show ‘On The Go’ gave U.S. audiences their first taste of the years to come with the introduction of an English music act that had been tearing up record sales on the other side of the Atlantic.
