Our Field to Fork story continues into 2019. Learn about the people who lived and worked here, including Mr Wigglesworth, Tatton’s Land Agent and Aunt Mary who still makes butter in the Caretakers Cottage. Find out where your food comes from and see the renovated Mill and its working machinery. The den building area and all-weather tractor play barn bring young imaginations to life and of course, there are still lots of rare breed animals to enjoy!
Originating from the 15th century and reputed to be haunted, Tatton’s Old Hall is a hidden gem. Once at the heart of Tatton estate, it has an eventful history from the Lord of the Manor’s Great hall to its final use as a Mole catcher’s cottage. Visit www.tattonpark.org.uk for special Old Hall events and pre-booked tours.
