Valentine’s Party February 13, 2015 The Valentine’s Day Party was a success because of all the generous help provided by many wonderful helpers.  

Here are a few of the hard working people we would  like to recognize who made this  a  fun‐filled day  for our Neighbors:    Laura Hicks  and Our  Lady of  Joy, Andy Miller, Michael Golding, Carol  Salituro, Kathy Haugner, Aktion Club, Marion Abramowitz,  June Reilly, Tami Thrailkill, the S‐Club, and FCC Staff.

LOCKBOXES FOR CAREFREE AND CAVE CREEK RESIDENTS… The Lockbox Program will allow 911 Emergency Responders access to homes in the event of an emergency. If you are a Carefree resident, please call FCC at 480.488.1105. If you are a Cave Creek resident, please call Marshal Stein at 480.488.6636. A $25.00 donation is requested.

Upcoming Dates to Remember

AED/CPR classes will be held on the following dates:

March 22, 2015 April 18, 2015 May 31, 2015

The classes will be held at the Carefree Fire Station from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Donations toward the $25 fee requested. We need to have 10 people signed up for each class to make it a productive class. It is critical that all volunteers be trained in AED & CPR. With the new guidelines and methods, this class is quite valuable for all of you to feel comfortable to do something when someone needs help.

Starting on February 4, 2015 and continuing through April 15, 2015, AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will be avai lable each Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Desert Foothills Library. They will help taxpayers with low to moderate income, with special attention to those age 60 and older, prepare and f i le their personal federal and Arizona income tax returns.

Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling the Library at 480.488.2286.
