3-Point HitchThe Category I & II 3-point hitches provide fastand simple attachment of rear-mountedimplements. Two external hydraulic cylindersprovide equal lifting force and smooth transferof hydraulic power for easy operation.

HydraulicsThe M-Series’ hydraulic pumps are now locatedon the side case instead of on the engine. Thisshortens the oil flow path increasing efficiency.

Newly Designed CabThe cab of our M-Series tractors has beencompletely redesigned. Rounded glass on thecab gives the operator more room and greatervisibility. The height of the cab offers moreheadroom, and most of the levers andswitches have been moved to the right sideconsole for easier access. For greater visibility,the exhaust pipe has been relocated and thewindshield now boasts a pantograph wiper.

Heater/Air ConditionerThe heater and air conditioner have beenimproved for the new M-Series. We’verelocated the air outlets to the dash tower tokeep you cooler in the heat and warmer in thecold by optimizing the air flow around theoperator.

Thishood can also be easily openedto provide convenientmaintenance of the engine, ACcondenser, radiator and air filter.

HeadlightsThe M-Series now comes withhalogen lights with a corner lamp.These lights are not only moreefficient; they also provide moreillumination from dusk to dawn.

Re-Engineered SeatsReclining, weight-adjusted seatsare standard equipment on all M-Series models. Thesecomfortable seats were specificallydesigned to absorb shock,significantly reducing operatorfatigue. We’ve also added aconvenient manual holder in theseat back. The M9540 DHC-DShas a fully adjustable airsuspension seat for extra comfort.

Improved Steering Wheeland Column DesignThe tilt steering column of thenew M-Series boasts a couplenew features. Designed toaccommodate operators ofmany different sizes, the wheeland shuttle lever tilt together. Tocomplement this feature, aneasy-to-use foot pedal has also

been added.

Flat Deck (ROPS model)Full-Flat Deck (Cab model)When operating a tractor, spacecomes at a premium. The M-Seriesflat deck neatly repositions most ofthe operational levers, includingmain shift and range lever, auxiliarycontrol lever, hand-throttle, positiondraft control lever and PTO clutchlever, to the right of the seat. DI (Direct Injection) EngineAll of the four M-Series tractors are equipped with Kubota’srevolutionary center-direct injection system (E-CDIS) engine. Theseengines also boast lower noise levels, which equates to less stressand fatigue after long work days. V3800DI-TV3800DI-T comes standard on both the M8540 and M9540tractors. This hearty diesel engine employs a reliable 4-valve,center-direct injection system to achieve greater towingpower. Tier III Emission RegulationsThe M9540 DHC-DS is equippedwith an engine that complies withTier III EPA emission regulations.

Low Noise and Low VibrationTo help reduce operator fatigue and stress,the V3307-DI has been specially designed tominimize noise and vibration. This isaccomplished through several innovativetechnologies. Noise is reduced through aladder frame crankshaft support, giving theengine a stiffer structure and thus lower noise.Vibration is lowered through the application ofcompact, built-in balancers.

Increased PTO PowerTo give the M-Series even more power and tomake working with large implements easier,Kubota has increased PTO horsepower onthree of our M-Series models. The M6040offers a sturdy 55 HP; the M8540 a hearty 75HP; and the M9540 a full 84 HP.

Hydraulic Shuttle Better than ever, our Hydraulic Shuttlefor the M-Series makes shiftingbetween forward and reverse smoothand quick. With the Hydraulic Shuttle,a column-mounted lever, convenientlylocated next to the steering wheel,

Hydraulic Independent PTOPulling, lifting, cutting or baling; the standard 540/540E rpm hydraulicindependent PTO (1000 rpm is optional on M8540/M9540) of theKubota M-Series tractors makes your toughest work easier. Self-modulation engagement with a light touch means implements like arear cutter engage smoothly. The PTO brake engages when theclutch is shut off and securely holds the PTO shaft. The PTO clutchcan be hydraulically engaged and disengaged on the go. Thismeans mowing, operating hay equipment or spraying orchards areall made more efficient.

3-Point HitchThe Category I & II (M6040/M7040) and Category II(M8540/M9540) 3-point hitches provide fast and simpleattachment of rear-mounted implements. On theM6040 and M7040 the capacity is 1500kg and on theM8540 and M9540 it is 3200kg. The M9540 DHC-DS isalso equipped with an external 3-point hitch lift lever.
