The meeti ng will be held at a very presti gious locati on: the Salles de Pologne, surrounded by many highlights of Leipzig City Centre. Leipzig is ranked No. 3 aft er Berlin and Munich among the top citi es of Germany, it is ranked 10 on the New York Times list of the “100 citi es your have to visit in your lifeti me”. Some among many reasons for this is the cultural density leading to the nick name “Hypezig”. Bach, Brahms, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Lessing and many more lived and worked in Leipzig. Goethe wrote his “Faust” in the sti ll exiti ng caves of “Faustus Cellar”, one of our social event locati ons.

Among lots of culture and enjoyment you can expect: ● Scienti fi c presentati ons and invited lectures, poster sessions and other specialty interest workshops ● practi cal based teaching about how to carry out focused  ultrasound procedures ● covering all major manufactures in open discussions led by  experts in the fi eld concentrati ng on the main areas of applicati on

Parti cular emphasis is applied to the clinical use refl ected by handson seminars, face to face disputes, what can go wrong? sessionsand early att empts of consensus on FUS applicati ons. But you will not miss latest developments and technologies.The local organisati on will kindly be supported through the Department of Radiology of University Hospital Leipzig (Director Thomas Kahn) by Juliana Teresia Melasch, Maximilian Beimler and Michael Moche.
