DAY 11 Tuesday 12th June – Edinburgh Airport

Today began with English lessons followed by a quick snack. We then headed off to spend

time with the Airport Police at Turnhouse. The children had great fun trying on the oversized uniforms but the great excitement came when the armed police arrived to explain to the children what their role was at the airport and allow them to hold the guns they use.

After lunch we joined Lucy and her colleagues in the control tower which was enjoyed by all except Dasha when she had to walk down the stairs. Back at the church hall for concert prep and craft, I am sure you were all very impressed by the t shirts your children brought home.

Stars of today all the children of course and Olga and Katia for the splendid job they did with the children.
