III. PLATFORM You are not allowed to have more than three (3) Main Points. USE PROPER FORMAT. Strictly ONE (1) LINE ONLY for each Main Point and NO MORE THAN SEVEN (7) LINES for the details. Use only Cambria, 10 font. Note: A sentence does not automatically correspond to one line.

MAIN POINT 1: Promote SYNERGY between the finance and marketing arms of AMS Organizations should preserve the balance between external and internal procedures. As such, the financial sector of AMS should be strongly coupled with the external nature of marketing to complement the strengths and develop the weaknesses of each other within the Marketing and Finance Associates (MaFiA) pool efforts. To achieve this, I plan to integrate the finance associates with the efforts of the marketing associates and vice versa. I believe that collaboration and transparency between the two arms will lead to more dynamic efforts in providing essential financial resources for further breadth of projects. MAIN POINT 2: Administer an efficient financial STRUCTURE As a project-based organization, an efficient financial structure must be carefully executed to realize the maximum impact of all AMS projects. The expenses of all the different projects must be justified and monitored consistently throughout the year to attain sustainability within the organization. To achieve this, I plan to improve the current financial structures by assigning well-trained finance associates to projects of the same nature, and to project heads that they are comfortable working with. I believe that a more personal relationship between finance associates and project heads, with the guidance of the CFO, is necessary for more effective communication and project implementation. MAIN POINT 3: Foster financial COMPETENCE within AMS Finance, as a fundamental organizational branch, should be easily understood by all and practiced by many. Every member ought to have sufficient knowledge regarding procedures to foster financial competence within the organization. To achieve this, I plan to provide comprehensive financial training seminars for the members of the Marketing and Finance Associates (MaFiA) pool, as well as for Executive Committee members, project heads and core team members. I also intend to inform the members of basic financial procedures through simple infographics.
