How can I earn up to 2.5% back?

MAKE SURE YOU QUALIFY

1. Have an active cheque account in good standing*. 2. Update your contact details with a valid email address and/or cellphone number at least once in a twelve month period; and change your FNB

marketing consent indicator to 'Yes'** 3. Register for FNB's free messaging service InContact 4. Register and transact with FNB's Online, Cellphone, Telephone Banking or the FNB Banking App at least once a month. 5. Ensure that you deposit a total of at least the following minimum amounts into your FNB Cheque Account each month:

o Smart Cheque Accounts and Encore Accounts - R2 000 o Gold Accounts and Islamic Cheque Accounts - R5 500 o Platinum Accounts - R16 500 (Young Professional Accounts - R5 500)

6. Ensure that the monthly value of your Cheque Card swipes exceed the value of your monthly ATM cash withdrawals***

MAXIMISE YOUR eBUCKS EARN

Like with FNB Fuel Rewards and FNB Airtime Rewards, the percentage of eBucks you earn is based on the reward level you are on. On the highest reward level, you could earn 2.5% back in eBucks and 15% back on fuel/airtime*.

You simply need to: o Meet all the qualifying criteria stated above. o Accumulate points in order to determine your reward level - based on your banking behaviour and product holdings. o Earn eBucks which are calculated by applying the respective earn percentage to your qualifying monthly spend.

7. Only insurance products that are directly linked to your FNB Cheque Account (Optional Debt Protection; Smart Device Insurance; and Roadside Assistance) will be considered as points. 8. You cannot earn more than eB5 000 (R500) or less than eB20 (R2) on an FNB Personal Cheque Account per month. 9. eBucks earned will reflect every month, by about the 8th in your eBucks account monthly in arrears, as shown on your monthly FNB Personal Cheque Account statement. You will also be able to view your eBucks earned via your online banking profile or on www.eBucks.com. 10. If you have a dispute concerning the eBucks reflected on your monthly statement, you must contact FNB on 0860 11 22 44 within 30 days of the statement date. Failure to do this will mean that your statement is final and binding. 11. The terms and conditions relating to the eBucks Rewards Programme and these Rules may be amended by FNB from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes. 12. eBucks are not earned on FNB Visa Debit Card spend and from 1 July 2011, the eBucks earn booster does not apply. 13. The Rules :

How can I earn up to 2.5% back?

If you hold an active One Account, you qualify for this offer. You will need to ensure that you meet all of the the following qualifying criteria:

1. Have an active One Account in good standing* 2. Have total monthly deposits of at least R16 500 made into your One Account** 3. Allow FirstRand to market to you and update your contact details with a functional email address and cellphone number at least once in a twelve month

2. If the qualifying rules as stated above are not met you will not qualify to earn eBucks on your Cheque Card purchases. 3. Your total tiering points for a twelve month period determine the earn level at which you will be awarded eBucks. In order to qualify for a particular earn level, you will need to have total points greater or equal to the reward tier entry requirements. The rules pertaining to the earn level and the awarding of points will be published on www.fnb.co.za or www.eBucks.com 4. eBucks earned will reflect in your eBucks account monthly in arrears, as shown on your monthly FNB One Account statement. You will also be able to view your eBucks earned via your online banking profile or on www.eBucks.com 5. If you have a dispute concerning the eBucks reflected on your monthly statement, you must contact FNB One Account Contact Centre on 0860 362 663 within 30 days of the statement date. 2.1 You will earn rewards in the form of eBucks on qualifying foreign exchange transactions, subject to clause 3 below. 2.2 You are responsible for any tax implications on any eBucks earned or spent from being a member of the eBucks Rewards Program. We recommend that you obtain independent professional advice regarding the tax consequences arising from the receipt or spend of any eBucks. 2.3 In order to earn eBucks, you must meet the qualifying criteria, as determined by FNB from time to time. 2.4 Qualifying Criteria: 2.4.1 You must be an FNB Customer within the Smart, Personal, Wealth or Business Banking segments; 2.4.2 You must be a member of the eBucks Rewards Programme with an eBucks account; 2.4.3 All your FNB accounts must be in good standing (means an account that is open, active and not more than one month in arrears and cannot be under debt review); 2.4.4 The transactions must be inward or outward foreign exchange payments in a foreign currency (not South African Rands); and 2.4.5 The inward or outward foreign exchange payments must be made via either online banking or through formal standing instruction: 2.4.5.1 Online Banking: means that customer has accepted the rate and asked for the payment to be made via our FNB online banking channel; 2.4.5.2 Formal Standing Instruction: a formal standing instruction for inward payments is where a customer has agreed for FNB to process the inward swift according to set rules without contacting the customer; and a formal standing instruction for outward payments is where the customer has a regular defined payment which the customer has authorised FNB to make on his behalf without subsequent intervention. 3. Exclusions 3.1 Rewards are not available to those customers already loaded on special discount or receiving pensioner pricing. 3.2 You will not earn eBucks on certain transactions as notified by us from time to time, including but not limited to foreign notes, travellers’ cheques, foreign currency account (FCA) funding, customer foreign currency account (CFC) funding, cash passport, Paypal, Moneygram or any other foreign exchange products. 4. General Earn Rules and Account Information 4.1 The eBucks received will be linked to the charges on the foreign exchange transactions (e.g. an earn of 15% will mean the customer may get 15% back on the commission we charge on the original transaction). The rewards are calculated in terms of the Earn Rules which will be determined by us from time to time. A copy of these Earn Rules, including the earn table with the earn percentages are available on www.ebucks.com 4.2 We will display the total eBucks you earn under your account profile on the eBucks website. This will be the sole record of eBucks earned. You may also enquire about the eBucks you have earned via the eBucks Call Centre. Your rewards will reflect on your account monthly in arrears, as shown on your monthly statement. You will also be able to view your rewards via your online banking profile. 4.3 You must ensure the eBucks displayed under your account profile on the eBucks website are correct. Should you have a dispute in respect to your rewards as reflected on your monthly statement, you must bring it to our attention in writing via the eBucks Call Centre within thirty (30) days after we display the eBucks under your eBucks account profile. Failure to do this will mean that your statement is final and binding. 4.4 We have the right to reverse eBucks accumulated by you via foreign exchange transactions, if the eBucks were awarded in error, or accumulated as a result of disqualified transactions. 5. Spending eBucks 5.1 You may spend your eBucks in accordance with the terms and conditions published on the eBucks website.

6. Amendments to the programme’s terms and conditions 6.1 The terms and conditions relating to the eBucks Rewards Programme for FNB Forex and the Earn Rules may be amended by us from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of such change. 6.2 We will inform you of these changes either on the eBucks and/or www.fnb.co.za website or by sending you the changed terms and conditions. 6.3 eBucks may also amend the programme terms and conditions. eBucks will publish changes on the eBucks.com website. 7. End or suspension of the programme 7.1 We may end or suspend our participation as a partner in the eBucks Rewards Programme on reasonable notice to you. 7.2 You will not lose the eBucks earned up to the date we end or suspend our participation in the programme and you will be able to spend you accumulated eBucks in accordance with the terms and conditions published on the eBucks website. 8.
