Intended Audience The content of this document is designed to facilitate the users -managers, supervisors and others of Price Match Extension for Magento. A step by step instruction has been added to this document to help users to install the extension on Magento. This extension will only work on Magento. Getting Started!
Overview
Pricing is the key factor contributing to your product’s selling and
dominating the market. FME’s “Found a lower price? Tell us!”
Magento extension allows you to adopt the pricing strategy that will
be consistent and customer catching in the market. It allows you to
get notified by customers about lower pricing being offered on your
products somewhere else right on the product page. You can then
analyze and fine tune your prices to stop losing customers. With Tell
a Price version 2 you get plenty of other concrete features such as
Request a Price Quote, Reporting, Status Updates, Auto email
response to customers, fully customizable forms and much more.
Extension Features
Customers are able to send the request as an email with all the required information.
The request will be an Ajax based. That saves the reloading time.
Customer will receive a 'Thank You' email the moment he/she will send the request.
Create multiple rules and assign them with priorities.
Auto status update i.e. first time all the request will have 'New' status. If admin just views
a request its status will be updated to 'pending' which will remind the site owners that
they missed to reply them. When admin will send email reply to the request, its status
will be updated to 'Replied'. And email date/time will also be visible on that page
In the report management a price comparison is also done between the products current
price (even if special price) and the one customer sent. In case the customer sent zero
price or not sent or even entered with wrong format (i.e. instead of 50$ he sent $50) then
a message will be shown as “invalid price submitted”.
You can enable/disable auto email sent to customer on his request.
You can theme the frontend form with your desired colors or according to your store, the
color pickers are provided for this purpose in the configurations.
Choose the logo for your form. (Logo will appear in the left corner at the bottom of the
form).

After installation of module, make sure the setup is upgraded and static-contents are deployed. Login
to admin panel and flush you Magento cache storage.
I. How to Add/Manage Price Matches:
Step 1 – Frontend: At the frontend open any product, here you will find the link “Price Match ? tell us”. Click on the link
to open the form.
Step 2 – Fill the Rule Information:
Here you will have to fill your information. For the purpose of this demo we have added the following
information.

Step 3 – Go to View Requests:
At the backend go to “View Requests”, you can go there from Admin Panel > FME Extensions > Tell a
Price. Here click on your previously submitted entry.

Step 3 – Manage Requests:
Now at the backend you will find all your pricing information.
II. How to Configure the Extension:
At the backend, go to “Configurations”, you can go there from Admin Panel > FME Extensions > Tell a
Price. Here you will have access to the following configurations:
Tell A Price:
1. Enable Tell A Price
2. Enable Price Match Link
3. Enable Quote Price Link
4. Enter the Label for Price Match: This will be shown as frontend link
5. Enter The Label For Quote Request: This will be shown as frontend link

Select Which Information’s Are Must Require From The Customers While Sending Emails
