Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital NHS Trust iKent. The Trust provides specialist cancer services, through its flagship cancecentre at Maidstone Hospital, the Trust is also at the forefront of developments inminimally invasive laparoscopic surgery in the NHS. Services are provided fromtwo hospital sites, details as follows:-
Maidstone Hospital; located in Maidstone Kent & Sussex Hospital; located in Tunbridge Wells*
Pembury A new Hospital which is due to open in September 2011
*There is a 226m new hospital development of 512 beds to replace the Kent &Sussex Hospital. Services will begin transferring in January 2011 and it ianticipated that all services will be in place at the new facility by the end of 2011.
The towns ofMaidstone & Tunbridge Wells are located South East of London 3minutes by train to Charing Cross and 30 minutes by train from Gatwick Airport.
Benefits:
Full time positions & permanent employment contracts.
Salary 21,17327,534 Band 5 (sterling) 37.5hrs per week.
Enhanced pay for working shifts and overtime.
27 Days Annual Leave plus 8 Public Holidays.
